Fun and informative experience. I learned some new tricks to help me cook like an Hungarian grandmother.

The directions to the location were clear. The kitchen facilities were well suited to the class. Betti was a wonderful teacher and made the class so fun! The choice of dishes was great - Hungarian goulash soup, chicken paprikash, and apple strudel. Betti told us stories about the history of the dishes and the importance of food to the Hungarian culture. We got a lot of personal attention and hands on experience making the recipes. We purchased the cookbook and look forward to making these recipes at home. We highly recommend this experience!

This was a really nice experience for us and we had small group, which we enjoyed. The food turned out amazing. Our instructor was very nice and knowledgeable…although we were expecting a Hungarian Grandma to be leading the class. Overall, we really enjoyed our day.

As Tour Manager, I was very much impressed with the set up and organization. The environment was well planned. We all felt like we were at a friends kitchen helping them cook. We enjoyed being able to snack in the treats left out and to get our own drinks from the fridge. The chefs (Betty and Paul) had not only experience and intelligence, but they had lots of passion. Paul had a sense of humour that was used to have fun, but also to maintain attention on him when talking. Our favourite part of Budapest was visiting your establishment. Thanks. Had a great time cooking with Paul! There were just 6 of us -- two friends and two strangers plus the chef. But we learned so much, we were very entertained along the way, and had a great meal afterwards! Paul was very organized and was the best cook we've taken a course with! Plus he sent us a lovely cookbook with the 4 recipes we made plus other Hungarian specialties we're very interested in!
