Not fun
Windy roads caused nausea and vomiting. Saw nothing and returned to Lisbon by train. .

We believe you may have accidentally posted your review on the wrong tour listing, as we have no record of an incident matching the experience you described.
Walkborder Tours operates exclusively private tours, not shared group excursions. This means that our guests have a dedicated vehicle and driver/guide throughout their experience.
If a guest were to feel unwell due to winding roads, we would immediately adapt the itinerary, take a different route or return to Lisbon, depending on the guest’s wishes and wellbeing.
Most importantly, we would never leave an unwell guest to return to Lisbon by train. Our driver/guide would accompany them back in our private vehicle.
The situation you describe might occur on a shared group tour, where the vehicle must continue with other passengers, but that is not the type of service we provide.
We would therefore kindly ask you to check whether your review was intended for a different tour operator.

Excellent Value and Great Tourguides
My family and I used this company to go from Porto to Lisbon, with a stop at Coimbra and Fatima along the way. We also used this for a day tour to Sintra and Cascais. Pedro, our driver, was informative, personable, professional, and funny. He accommodated our interest and overall our trip between cities and the day tour with two teenagers were fun as well as educational. I highly recommend this company and would reach out to them directly for a customized affordable tour

Pena Palace does not Disappoint for its Varied Architecture
Palace is worth the visit in the off season as I did as crowds are smaller. No need to visit inside as it is limited to 4 rooms as of this spring. Incredible mixture of architecture and the walk around the castle is worth it. Buy a no-line ticket.

Beautiful views
This day trip was quite a wonderful experience with our tour guide Filipe..very kind and caring, always made sure we were always comfortable.
He imparted Great knowledge of Sintra and Caiscas, beautiful and gorgeous views and would recommend this trip. It's a must do!

Great experience - would highly recommend!
Great day touring Lisbon and specifically Sintra and Cacais.... Our tour guide, Manuel, made it very memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable and tailored the experience to our likes and interests. He was creative with the experience and a great communicator throughout the day as well as leading up to the tour. Would highly recommend this experience and Manuel made sure everything was taken care!

Memorable day!
Our day started with Ricardo picking us up at our hotel. After introductions, settling us in and providing us with cold water, we got on our way. Ricardo provided us with an overview of our day and also asked if there were any particular monuments or sights we were particularly interested in. On Hugo’s recommendation (the tour company owner) we had pre-booked tickets for the Peña Palace. While we were enroute, Ricardo assisted with purchasing tram tickets to get up to the palace. After a leisurely and informative drive, we arrived at Peña Palace - we were pleasantly surprised to discover that Ricardo would be personally guiding us during our visit to the Palace. He is very knowledgeable of the area, and the history of his country, and shared anecdotes and pointed out many features that we may have missed. After the Palace visit, we made our way down the mountain to Sintra village where he recommended a local pastry shop to try some popular specialties - so delicious! We had some free time to walk around and shop. We opted to have lunch enroute in Guincho, and Ricardo reserved a table at a restaurant overlooking the beach where we enjoyed a delicious lobster salad. From there we continued to Cascais where Ricardo shared the history of this area during World War ll. We chose to just do a drive through of Cascais and return to Lisbon.
The car was very comfortable, and Ricardo was an excellent and very safe driver - the tour was well-paced and we never felt rushed. We would highly recommended this tour, and Ricardo in particular, for a memorable tour which is very customizable to suit your preferences!

Anyone can drive you from A to B with a vehicle and a navigation app/device,
however top quality tourism services, those which make your day unforgettable, in my view, are truly rated according to the levels of attention, dedication and reliability given by the providers.
