So much fun, and great value seeing as how you get a market tour, boat ride, cooking class and dinner. Tram, was a great teacher, and a bit cheeky too! Highly recommend.

Awesome and curated experience. The basket boat is ok, but quite touristic and you could survive without it. Market and cooking class were the best. Proper explanation, very fun and interesting. I’d do it again! 100% recommended.

As someone who teaches cooking classes in the USA, I can say this class was so much fun and an amazing experience. Tram was a knowledgeable and fun teacher, she’s gets everyone involved. After the shopping trip to get the food, you go to Tram’s house, she lives on the river, the house is set up for classes, there are even 3 bathroom stalls. After arriving Tram has someone take you out on the banana boat from her deck (while she washes all the food and preps for the class) then you go back to her house to make the food and it’s not one of those ‘you watch someone else make it’ type classes, you’re all heavily involved with your own cooking station. The return Ubers to Tram’s house (which is close), the boat ride, the food, bottled water, everything is all included (I wondered how they make a profit) The class was abt 4 hours (including transfers and the boat ride). You make 6 courses, then you eat it all overlooking the river! I have a delicate stomach and worried before I went if I could actually eat the food but I had no issues at all. We’ve done a lot of excursions in Vietnam but this was my favorite. Even my sister who doesn’t like cooking had a fantastic time!

It is really worth it. Tran is a lovely chef who welcomed us into her home and shared her knowledge with us. Enjoyable experience, varied and truly local food.

Such an amazing experience! Had the loveliest tour guide Tram who made the whole time full of laughter, smiled and quizzing questions. Went with just my boyfriend and met three other amazing people from our group. We went on a rainy day and still had the most amazing time shopping in the market and in the coconut boats.

Terrific experience. Head Chef Tram welcomed us to her home and shared her love for food and culture. Worth every penny spent. Wow what a beautiful experience. I definitely recommend this activity. We started with shopping at the market and an explanation of the ingredients we would use. Then off to the river on a coconut basket boat. We came with open minds eager to learn Vietnamese cooking. Everything was delicious and knowing that we had prepared it was even more special. Chef made the whole experience fun and educational. If your going to book a cooking class this is The One.

This tour was really fantastic. First we went to the local market. Tram gave a lot of instructive explanation about the products in Vietnamese cuisine. After that we took a boat trip in a coconut boat and Crabs caught. It was fun! After that, we prepared 5 courses. Tram explained everything very clearly and is also a real entertainer, so it was a really great afternoon. She sent the recipes via WhatsApp so we can also make them at home. Everything was super tasty. This cooking workshop is a real recommendation!

Amazing amazing amazing experience!!!! Something you HAVE to do in Hoi An (especially with Tram, she is so funny, talented & experienced)! We had so much fun with our group. Lots of laughing and it was very well thought out - first it was a tour of the local market and getting our ingredients, then we went to Trams house and had a banana boat ride and then we got to cooking and finally we sat down and ate all of our delicious food. We were all so impressed with how good everything tasted! Some of the best food we’ve had in Vietnam.
