Clean boat, knowledgeable staff, great equipment and snacks. The dolphins were playing and the snorkeling reef was east and accessible.

We enjoyed Honest Eco so much that we booked 2 tours just a few weeks apart in September! Our first was with Sara and Mo, and our second with Kristen and Sav. Both crews were fantastic!! They were all friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the wildlife and environment of the Keys. Each tour was fun and educational, with incredible wildlife, beautiful scenery, and great snacks along the way. We had different family members join us each time, and everyone was thrilled with the experiences. Two wonderful tours with two amazing crews—we’ll definitely choose Honest Eco again!

We participated in the tour as a family with a toddler. Captain Mo and her first mate Charly took us to great spots and answered all our questions. Anyone who really wants to learn something about the nature and history of Key West is in the right place here! We are impressed by the knowledge that was passed on to us and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful time. We were completely satisfied and would recommend them with all our hearts!

An incredible experience made perfect by our guide ‘Charlie’. He explained everything, took time and care to show us wonderful sea creatures, fish and coral we could have not located ourselves. Everything was placed into context and Charlie was truly genuine and wonderful. This experience was simply brilliant. Thank You.

Captain Mo and Sara were the bomb.com!!!! I have done a load of snorkeling in my day and this was such a great, well rounded experience. Captain was so willing to explain her process and what she looks for when scouting for animals. Sara was so sweet and fun! Spotted eagle rays, dolphins, sting rays, barracuda, and (my personal favorite) a bonnet head shark!!! Sandbar was super fun! Next time, we’ll for sure bring some beverages and perhaps a lil float to enjoy. Would 100% do this exact tour again in the future! If you only have time or money for one boating excursion, absolutely pick this one. Small business, eco conscious, well rounded, and well run! (Sara, I hope to see you on Below Deck in a few seasons!!!!)

Let me just start off my saying if you’re goal is to see as many sea creatures as possible and be out on the water for along time this is the tour to go on. There was only about 15 people in our group. Charlie and Libbie both were super knowledgeable and willing to answer everyone’s questions. We went to few different area. One area was to see dolphins. We ended up seeing so many. They came right up to the boat. Then we traveled over to an area to snorkel. Charlie got off the boat and led us around the reef. We were fortunate to snorkel with sting rays, massive grouper fish, multiple nurse sharks, and even a lemon shark. The last place we stopped at was a sand bar and we were able to spend some time of the boat swimming around in super shallow water. It was nice because it is the height of sargassum season rn so most of the beaches aren’t great and the smell can be overbearing. On the way back in we were able to see a turtle as well. It was truly an amazing time. Honest eco is one of the smaller tour companies in Key West. I’m all about sharing the love with the smaller local companies that are trying to thrive on the island and it is was worth every cent. Please greatly consider honest eco for your snorkeling if you go. :)
