追悼ツアー：アルデンヌのバルジの戦い

We had Martin King as our wonderful historian and guide for the day. He is a wealth of knowledge! It's a long day from Brussels but so worth it.

The guide is a specialist on the Battle of the Bulge. He also has inside info and stories that he shared to keep our attention.

Our guide, martin king was informative and entertaining. We were disappointed that more time wasn't given at the museum. Our bus broke down and we sat waiting fir 2 1/2 hours for another bus to get us.

Our guide was Martin King who has written several books on the subject of Bastogne. He was very knowledgable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our bus broke down and we were on the side of the road waiting for a replacement for 2 and 1/2 hours. We did not get to cover he whole itinerary due to this. I would have given 5 stars if not for the breakdown and lost time. Try to take this tour on a Saturday and have Martin as your guide. He only works Saturdays.

Martin King was our very knowledgeable guide and on the bus ride to Bastogne gave us a concise and interesting account of the battle. We all learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in history. We visited the American cemetery, the foxholes used by Easy Company, and General MacAuliffe's headquarters, along with the Bastogne War Museum. This was a one day trip and we covered so much ground and information that it was well worth it. I'm sure that you can take a more expensive or longer tour, but if you only have a day, I highly recommend this one and that you get Martin King as your guide for the day.

A wonderful opportunity to learn about the Battle of the Bulge - both the museum and the American Cemetery were highlights. On our tour we had Martin King, a historian and author of books on the Battle of the Bulge, as our guide - he was tremendous!

Did not know what to expect from this tour but it was by far our favorite experience during our trip to Brussels! If you are a WWII buff, or just have an interest in the subject, you MUST book this tour with Martin King! It’s like taking an interactive history class with your favorite professor! He has written 17 books on the subject and won Emmy Awards for his documentary on a little known Congo born black nurse from Bastogne who heroically served at a US aid station during the Battle of the Bulge. Because he has done so much research on WWII and has interviewed so many survivors (Belgian, American and German), his stories are endlessly fascinating. We could have listened to him all day! This is a MUST if you have any interest in WWII history, especially Battle of the Bulge! (Note: Dr King only gives this tour on Saturdays. Book accordingly, you won’t regret it!)

We had an unbelievable time! Our Emmy award winning author and guide,Martin King, was a walking encyclopedia of WW2 history. His insight and personal anecdotes sprinkled with humor was fantastic. We already purchased one of his books from Amazon and hope to e-mail him to stay in touch. Started with a guide and felt like we left as friends. He is even a Buckeye fan:). We have been on many tours and his was the best. Don’t miss this when in Brussels. Highly recommend!!

The very enthusiastic & friendly Martin King provided so much history. He really gave a great picture of the events leading up to, during and after the Battle of Bastogne. The sights we saw were excellent, especially the museum & the woods/foxholes.

Stefaan is a terrific guide. While my husband is the WW2 history buff, I found this tour very interesting and informative. We both enjoyed the tour and Stefaan very much! Ben was our driver, did an excellent job getting us around-and a good group of people on the tour! A must do for anyone interested in WW2.
