Het Belfort van Gent

Lots of driving. Very brief overview of lots of places, nothing in depth anywhere. The tour just skimmed the surface. Lots to absorb.

Very nice trip. The walking was not too strenuous. Both cities are beautiful, but we found Bruges more so, The canal ride as lovely and our guide Jan as humorous and knowledgeable

Ghent and Bruges were...
Ghent and Bruges were definitely worth the trip. Beautiful and unique places. The English tour with Claire in Bruges was informative and entertaining. Not much time to explore but time to relax with a local beer and lunch.

This tour was amazing. Not only were the sites that we visited stunning but the tour guide Juliana was extremely professional , knowledgeable and personable which made the trip so much more enjoyable.

A very rushed visit to both cities
A very rushed visit to both cities. It wasn’t organized very well so we had very little time, and weren’t able to do any of the things the tour guide suggested. If I could do this over, I would recommend just taking the train to these cities yourself, and booking a walking tour there. This would actually give you time to experience the city without being rushed back on to the bus.

Ghent was great, Bruges not so much
Bus was great, it had USB charging cables available. Driver was great. Our guide Juliana was excellent - professional, articulate and friendly. Tour was covered in English and Spanish but that Juliana managed both seamlessly. Ghent: amazing and worth every minute. The operator had us use radios with headphones during the Ghent leg of the trip which was very useful. Bruges: over-crowded tourist trap. Too large in size to explore in the span of an afternoon. Guides from the city had to take us around instead of our tour operator’s guide - ours was nowhere as good as Juliana. Boat ride on the canal was overrated and not worth the 15 euro additional fee in my opinion.

Highly recommended. Very complete and entertaining excursion. Their guide Juliana was spectacular, very attentive, and with many recommendations that were appreciated.
