Tourist trap-boat late in showing up. Guide seemed lovely but boat was 30 minutes late. Guide dropped us off in front of Ferro and Lazzarini glass factory-glass blowing was 10 minutes, followed by Andre taking us through each and every glass room trying to sell us something. At the end, 45 min later, we purchased a pendant necklace for our 13 year old granddaughter for her birthday-the pendant fell off and broke the next day. Upon leaving the studio, our guide told us she would meet us back at the dock in 20 minutes...no guided tour. Extremely disappointed. Really was looking forward to seeing the San Donato church and learn more about Murano. I see good reviews so maybe with other companies, but not this one with Venice Tours.

Elisabete was a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. It was just our family of 3, so it was private and intimate. After the glass blowing demonstration we visited the factory showrooms. Then went into a church and went to the lighthouse. We stopped at a few shops before getting back on the water taxi. We truly enjoyed our visit to Murano.
This is a tourist trap. You can visit Murano on your own. The “private tour” was only a guide on the taxi ride and then salesmen at the glass blowing factory trying to pressure us to purchase items. We only saw glass blowing for 5-10 minutes. When trying to ask questions, we were quickly ushered to the gallery to buy very overpriced glass.
It was really cool to see a master craftsman do his work, and to take in the historical significance of this trade and the facility. Truly beautiful creations.

Our guides, Elizabeth and Claudia, were awesome! Our ride over to Murano Island was fun! Our tour of the glassblowing factory was amazing! The master created stunning work of art before our eyes! Each piece is one of a kind. I highly recommend this tour.
Glass tour was interesting not necessarily best. Seattle was a bit more dramatic Purchased two drinking glasses from a different store Guide was good

We thoroughly enjoyed our private Murano tour. The boat ride over was smooth, we were met by Andre who showed us the behind the scenes process with the glass master. We toured the shop and selected some beautiful pieces to be shipped back home. Our guide, Camilla, was exceptional. She shared great info about the art, history, culture and pride of the Venetian people.
Excellent tour with Allegra. Beautiful boat to and from Murabo and glass blowing was awesome! Would do again!!
