This driving company were absolutely fantastic and made our holiday a breeze! We didn't have a driver the whole time but we requested multiple journeys between places and we were able to make super last minute changes which was so helpful. For example, when we got to Sigiriya we decided we wanted to leave a bit later and Sashi was happy to accommodate this. The cars are super comfortable, air conditioned and all the drivers were really friendly. Can highly recommend booking if you want to add some simplicity and relaxation to your holiday.

After doing lots of research, we chose to go with Real Lanka Holidays to organise our private taxis for all of our trips during our time in Sri Lanka, and we could not have been happier with this decision. Every driver was extremely professional, friendly and reliable, and we even had a chance to visit some extra places, such as herbal gardens and tea plantations, on the way to our destinations. The communication with the team via WhatsApp was fantastic, and we always received responses immediately. We also found it very convenient that we could pay by card online, and the value for money for what we got was absolutely incredible. Truly can’t recommend enough.

We (six adults and three children) traveled around Sri Lanka in late May/early June 2026 with Anton as our guide and a private driver. I had planned the tour in advance and coordinated everything with our guide via WhatsApp. The communication was excellent, and even before the trip I had the feeling that he was someone we could completely rely on. Both the guide and the driver were always extremely punctual, friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Our guide spoke excellent English, which allowed him to answer our many questions and share fascinating insights about the country, its people, and its culture. He also regularly suggested additional activities and ideas that enhanced our trip. He was consistently attentive and took wonderful care of our children throughout the journey. Thanks to him, we were able to experience and see several things that we would not have discovered on our own. The driver was also very professional, driving safely and anticipating road conditions well. The vehicle comfortably accommodated 11 people along with all of our luggage. We felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire trip.

I found the Real Lanka Holidays a week before my trip to Sri Lanka via 12goasia and decided to check out their website directly. I'm glad I did because they were able to confirm my multi-city taxi request via WhatsApp on a Sunday afternoon/evening. The professionalism, prompt time keeping, and great communication was all amazing. All of the drivers were early if not on time. All of my trips took place without any issues and the company confirmed the vehicle and reg before every trip. I recently had the chance to visit Sri Lanka solo for 10 days. I booked my transfers between major cities with Real Lanka Holidays, and it was the best decision yet. I was really lucky to have Kamal as my driver on my first day from Negombo to Sigiriya. Not only did he drive safely, he shared with me so much about his country, including the culture and history, and made numerous stops on the way, turning the transfer into something much more enjoyable. He has amazing recommendations on sights and restaurants. I ended up doing my other transfers with Kamal as well as I was really satisfied with my experience. They offer very competitive prices for private transfers as well. I highly recommend Kamal and Real Lanka Holidays if you are travelling to Sri Lanka.

From the moment our lovely young guide Heshan, picked us up we were his no. 1 priority. We did wonder how he would cope with 2 ladies of a certain age, who aren’t as fit and agile as we once were! He was so polite and courteous, and really looked after us, making sure we saw and did everything we wanted and much, much more. He accompanied us everywhere, advising us on how much to pay to guides etc., ensuring we weren’t overpaying! If he didn’t know all the answers to our questions, he would always research it and tell us later. He helped us on the somewhat arduous climb up Sigiriya, patiently waiting as we regularly stopped to ‘admire the view’! We both admitted, if it wasn’t for Heshan urging us on, we would never have made it to the top! He also presented us with 2 fabulous pictures to keep as momentos or our amazing unforgettable trip.

Real Lanka Holidays stepped in at late notice to fill in the gaps in our itinerary caused by the rail line closures. All worked well despite the last minute replanting that we had to undertake.

We have organized the transfers between our destinations through Real Lanka. The drivers were always friendly, reliable and drove safely. Prices are very moderate compared to other larger providers. In the beginning we were a bit irritated by the fact that most of the time nobody came forward from the company. But we got used to it and everything went great.

We drove a total of 5 routes with a private taxi. Pricewise it was really always very good and the drivers were always top.
