Lot of walking to the tram and if one has a fear of heights, this will scare the heck out of them but worth it!

This tour takes advantage of public transportation BUT with a guide to remove any guesswork. The beauty of the Lake Lucerne cruise which was amazing was surpassed by the views from high atop Mt. Pilates. Our guide, Jovana, could not have been better in keeping us informed of all the folklore surrounding these mountains and villages. Our best tour of the three week European journey

Jovana was fantastic! Friendly and very informative . Got us through lines quickly and easily. Went from boat to cogwheel train to Mt Pilatus. So beautiful there! The back down via cable cars and bus Truly fun and beautiful tour. Thanks Jovana for a great day

Jovana was the BEST! The whole group LOVED her! Knowledgeable and capable of keeping us all together…not easy! She knew when to interject of interesting historical fact or story and went to just pull back and let us enjoy things on our own. The bost trip was relaxing with gorgeous views. Mt Pilatus did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend!

They rescheduled our trip and did not inform us as we waited 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time and then when I texted him, they told me wanting a refund

First and foremost, our guide, Coco, was awesome. He was charismatic, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. He gets 5 stars. But, Viator and the pre-tour planning people get 2 stars. I booked this tour for 10:15am. I received an email asking for my contact info weeks in advance, which was provided. A quick response to that email with an attempt offering more services was provided. Less than 24 hours before the tour, an email was sent that indicated the tour time had been changed to 1:15pm. No acknowledgment that a time change had occurred by the way, so I replied to the email requesting confirmation. None was received. My friend and I, along with a different/separate couple showed up at 10:00am. Then we proceeded to call Viator customer service, who despite their best attempts, was unable to reach the local tour operator. This last minute change in time, and failure to adequately communicate, led to lost valuable vacation time for me and my friend and has me questioning as to whether I can trust Viator in the future. Thus, the two stars. As for the cruise and Mount Pilatus, it was great. But, plan for it to be an all-day event with potential last minute changes to scheduling, so do not schedule any other tours that day.

Our guide Coco was exceptional all day very friendly, engaging, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Trip was postponed from the morning to middle of the day which meant there were less crowds everywhere

We had a lovely day exploring the top of the mountain and taking pictures.

Jacob was great. It was a genuine Swiss mountain experience.

The tour allows you to experience many things, but it did not feel rushed. Jacob, our guide, did an outstanding job of working with our small group.
