5 stars doesn’t really do justice to Praboda and the amazing experience we had. As soon as he picked us up, we already felt like we were in safe hands. We had the wrong adaptor for our chargers, and immediately Praboda knew where to go and what to get, he made it so easy. We were made to feel very safe and comfortable for the whole journey. Praboda is calm and extremely skilled driver, in what can be a slightly chaotic environment! Praboda’s knowledge of Sri Lankan history, culture, wildlife and people is second to none, there is no question he couldn’t answer. Praboda takes time to get to know you, and because of this helped tailor our experience to make sure we got the very best out of our time in Sri Lanka, he suggested new things to do and often pointed out wildlife and less tourist spots for us to see and explore. Praboda really cares and wants to ensure that you get the holiday that you really want, and for that, we are truly grateful. Our time in Sri Lanka was wonderful and one of the best experiences, we have no doubt at all that this was the case because of the amazing Praboda, his attention to detail, friendliness and expertise. By the time we had finished our trip, Praboda had become family, not a driver, but someone who we trusted and enjoyed spending our time with. Not only can we not recommend him enough, but we can’t wait to go back and do it all again!

tldr; Praboda was amazing private driver and genuinely great person. He made our whole trip stress free, from driving and planning our days to helping with hotels, activities, weather changes, and all the little details. His English is excellent, he is extremely reliable, and we always felt like we were in good hands. Honestly, one of the best decisions we made for our Sri Lanka trip. When we first started looking for a private driver and saw so many great reviews, I honestly wondered if they could really be genuine. That changed the second we arrived at the airport and saw a smiling guy waiting for us with our names. Praboda was not just a great driver and guide, but also an amazing person. I’m the kind of person who usually spends a huge amount of time on my phone researching what to see, where to go, and trying to make the best choices. With Praboda, I didn’t have to do any of that. He drove really well, and we felt completely stress free throughout the trip. Even though we only had a rough itinerary, with Praboda we were able to figure out the specific things to do based on the weather, road conditions, and what we felt like doing that day. When the weather was bad, he helped us find great alternatives that we would never have known about ourselves. His English was also very good, so communication was never a problem. He also provided us with water on every trip, which was a small but really appreciated detail, especially during the hot days. He’s also a real gentleman, always helping with our bags, opening the door for my girlfriend, and making sure we were comfortable. He was very generous and always went out of his way to make our trip special, often helping us with little things we wouldn’t even have thought to ask for. He was also extremely proactive, calling hotels before we arrived, contacting different services when we needed something, and basically taking care of all the little details that made the trip easier. Honestly, having Praboda with us meant we could just relax and enjoy Sri Lanka instead of constantly worrying about logistics. He became much more than just our driver. He was someone we could rely on throughout the whole trip. I would trust this guy with my life. If you’re looking for a private driver in Sri Lanka, I genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough.

We have returned from our trip through Sri Lanka delighted, and a large part of why the experience was so good is due to Praboda and Gayan. 🇱🇰 Our trip had two parts. For the first 3-4 days we traveled with only two people with Praboda. Afterward we took a break to go to the Maldives and, upon our return, we continued for another 10-11 days, this time being five people, with Gayan, a friend of Praboda. Praboda continued coordinating and organizing all the details of the trip throughout the entire journey. From the beginning it was we who decided what we wanted to visit and what activities to do. They adapted completely to our plans, helping us find well-located hotels and the best routes. Although we hired a chauffeur service, we received much more. Praboda and Gayan also act as guides and are attentive to every detail. They would advise us on how to dress to visit the temples, they recommended we bring socks because the ground was burning, they had water ready every day 💧 and the cars were always clean. For both safaris they took care of the tickets and coordinating the jeeps in advance, even paying the money upfront. Thanks to that we avoided long lines first thing in the morning. They also reminded us, every time we changed hotels, to take our passport, cell phone, and our important things. Small details that are greatly appreciated. 😊 Communication was very easy and they were always kind and helpful. During the trips, they not only talked to us about tourism, but also about their culture and how education, healthcare, pensions, and daily life work in Sri Lanka. That made us get to know the country much better. The price includes transportation, gasoline, tolls, meals, and driver accommodation, with no surprises. In short, they were not just our drivers: they were drivers, guides, and travel companions, always making sure we enjoyed the experience. 🚙🌴 We totally recommend their services. We would do it again without a doubt. ❤️

Praboda was my driver and it was perfect. I had planned a very specific tour to historical sites, Praboda supplemented this with additional historical sights. Everything was by agreement, he was always punctual, polite, and also humorous. For solo travelers, this way of traveling is simply perfect, uncomplicated, and safe.
