This was an expensive excursion. We had to pay more than the listed fee due to an increase in airfare. In addition, we did not have enough time to visit the entire Pearl Harbor park before we had to meet our guide for the Honolulu tour. Pearl Harbor itself was interesting and we wish we could have finished enjoying it. The tour of Honolulu and Waikiki was about an hour. We saw maybe 4 sites. We only got off the bus once for about 10 minutes. It was very underwhelming. We would have liked to have taken that hour to stay at Pearl Harbor. I recommend just doing Pearl Harbor on your own and not going through this company.

Let a pro do the driving
We took a day trip over from Big Island with the Aloha team doing the leg work on planning and driving. Our driver, Jeremiah (Miah), embodied the spirit of aloha with the tour, his driving, and his knowledge of his beautiful paradise.

Memorial perfect; guide not so much
The memorial was beautiful. Our tour guide did not wait until 7 AM for us at the pickup. He called us at 6:55 am questioning why we were not at the pickup location (which by the way, I received an email saying the pick up time was adjusted to 7:15am) he was questioning because there were two others that were on our airplane. So he was arguing that we should have been there. He left and said he'd be back for us. We arrived at the designated pickup at 6:59, then waited until 7:35 for him to return and pick us up. As I had questioned the tour itinerary (based on the information in my confirmation) the driver was very rude and told me to stop talking and be quiet and instead listen to him.
This encounter and unprofessional interaction did not begin our day on a good note.

Summer was wonderful!

Wonderful experience
Summer was an excellent tour guide. Her information on the Peral Habor was very valuable to us and made our visit so much less stressful. Pearl Harbor & Around Honolulu
The memorial was worth the trip and we had beautiful views, our guide, Summer, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and great at giving us history of the islands

not worth it
This trip was so disappointing. We were flying out of Kona. The instructions were that we were departing at 9 am. Not true. We had to fly out at 6 am. The instructions were that the tour company would pick us up at airport between 7-8. Not true. The instructions on where they would be located was so confusing. It took us 30 minutes for find the bus and then we were scolded for being late and it was only 7:30. The tour was supposed to be from 9-1. Not true. We arrived at Pearl Harbor at 8:00 and had to depart at 10:30. We only 2.5 hrs at the harbor. Not enough time. The tour guide, Ariel, was so rude. Would not book this trip with this company. The instructions for everything were wrong and worse, the tour guide was rude.

Great experience
Our tour guide knew the sites very well. She remembered every person‘s name on the bus and was very informative and knew something about every single state.
