We thought our driver/guide would be taking us through the sites but no, we were just transported to Pearl Harbour and USS Missouri. He did however provide commentry along the way. We enjoyed looking through the USS Missouri, and the cramped conditions the crew worked in. This tour is expensive but you pay for convience, hotel pickup provided.
This was an amazing experience. The transportation provided was amazing. Very timely and very informative. His name was Clift. He even took the time to make an itinerary for us so could make the most of our time.
Art was a wealth of knowledge. He was hilarious and knew the island history so well. He gave us insight on what side of the boat to sit on and how not to wait in line to see the 20 minute Pearl Harbor movie. Art made our trip great!
Educational! New bus that was very nice. Art was top notch!! He was informative and a local with some jokes! We loved the battleship.
The guide was so knowledgeable with the history of the event. Even informed us of facts I didn’t know. Like Yamamoto going to Harvard, WOW
As a Veteran l found it extremely powerfull and moving. I was touched beyond words. I'm only sorry it took so long to make the trip.

Be prepared and pack a clear bag in your luggage if you are flying in. Dress comfortably not in n a dress, steep stairs too climb.
Jeff was an excellent tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about the history surrounding Pearl Harbor. He was entertaining and was genuinely interested in everyone enjoying the tour. The memorial is a sobering reflection on the human sacrifice given that day, the men and women who serve there make sure the memorial is treated with dignity and respect. Folks have complained that they felt rushed, there is enough time to view and reflect but they do stay on pace as it is a long day if visiting the Arizona and Missouri.
Plan to take the earliest trip to the Arizona memorial, it gets quite warm at the memorial, we had a 8:30 am visit and it was getting warm and sticky already.
