Good experience but could have been so much better as I adore books and love book shops.
That at any one time there are far too many people in the beautiful bookstore to really enjoy the experience. Too many people taking photos in the most unmannerly way- with no thought for anyone else. Breathtaking rudeness.

Meh
We enjoyed the bookstore, but their computer system had a glitch and it said we had used the book discount that was promised, but we hadn't. We wanted to buy two books, but the discount would not work and the staff kept insisting we must have already used the discount which we had not. I am not sure they ever really believed that we had not used the discount. They did try to fix the system and offer the discount, but could not so we left disappointed and without our books.

Beautiful experience
Great experience in Livraria Lello. We were taken out of main queue as we had skip tickets so went straight in. Beautiful building and although busy still an interesting and enjoyable visit without being rushed.

Library letdown
This was a waste of time. You are packed in like sardines. Had to fight to look at the books in our language and everyone is clamouring for the right photo op. I thought it would of been bigger, but it takes not long to go through the library itself, not sure about the tours. There is no bathroom in there as well, and long, long lines to pay for your book ! All in all, very disappointing!!
