The private tour was fantastic. Tania did a great job. She had so much history information but not too much. Great insight of the Vatican.

Claudia did a fabulous job of not just getting us around the crowds but also explaining the history of the sites. The crowds can be crazy and a waste of time so there’s immediate value in that. Security line everyone has to wait for. The tour starting point was easy to find. Communication with the tour company was proactive and timely. We were free to speed up or stop as we pleased. One nice convenience is that Claudia was available to take pictures of my wife and I along the way. The tour ends with exploration in the basilica on your own. You can do a larger group tour but having 1 dedicated tour guide for your own group, in this case my wife and I, made us comfortable asking questions and giving more attention of what we wanted.

The private tour jumped many of the lines and took short cuts. We did not realize how many people and how hot it would be in June. Having the freedom to move out of the crowds was good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. Loved it!

This was the best private tour of Vatican City and the museum. Tonia was THE BEST tour guide and so knowledgeable in the history, art and important elements of everything we saw. And we just had fun the entire time I highly recommend this tour!

The queue to get into Vatican city was huge, the wait time to get in without a tour guide was 4 hours! It was the jubilee of opening the holy door so that could have made the waiting longer than normal but getting the guided tour takes the risk out of it. The guide was well versed in English and had a lot of knowledge on the basilicas and Sistine chapel. There is lots to see in the 4 basilicas and without the guide it would be hard to take it all in.

Giuseppe was a marvelous and knowledgeable guide who greatly added to our Vatican experience. A private, jump-the-line guided tour like the kind he provided makes all the difference in the world and is surprisingly affordable.

Enjoyed the tour but was expecting to see a lot of paintings like I had seen in a previous tour. Supposed to be a private tour but tour guide was sick so ended up with a group tour. Waiting for refund of 50% as promised since tour changed from private tour to group tour.

Very competent guide, who navigated us through the crowd and presented in more than decent English some highlights of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, answering any questions the group had. The only area that could be improved is use of headphones, the Vatican supplied ones don’t stay on your ear and audio quality isn’t great. If Tours of Rome used their own that would provide an improved experience.
