Great private experience on Xochimilco. Armando was our guide and drove expertly through the city through some difficult roads, managing our trip expertly. We loved floating on the canals and embracing the indigenous experience and culture they are built upon. We had lunch at an excellent Yucatán restaurant in coyoacan, then toured the Frida Kahlo museum where Armando was holding our place in line. The museum was extraordinary and gave us a whole new perspective after learning all about Frida’s resilient spirit. It was a beautiful way to spend the day and Armando was a delight to have as a guide.

Elsy was an excellent driver while giving a lot of information about Freda Kahlo. The boat tour of Xochimilco was like bumper cars on water. I would not miss the experience, the tacos and the little botanical tour during the boat ride. For a small extra fee we saw snakes, held lizards and saw the endangered Axolotl. Elsy grew up in Polanco so hearing about changes was very interesting.

Our guide Carlos was informative, punctual and gave us some great information about the history of Coyoacan. We were disappointed that Frida Museum was booked out , however Carlos took us to Anahaucalli Museum in place of Frida.

We were so pleased with this tour and with Jaime as our guide. Communication ahead of the tour through WhatsApp was excellent, and he picked us up directly at our hotel. We began with a peaceful weekday-morning visit to Xochimilco with just the two of us, Jaime, and our boat captain, Abraham. Jaime gave us helpful context about the history of Xochimilco and how Mexican families enjoy it today for celebrations. We also made a few stops along the way, including to see plants and for a brief pulque tasting. Going on a weekday morning was perfect for us because we wanted to experience Xochimilco without the party atmosphere. From there we drove to Coyoacán, where Jaime share the area's history while he walked with us through several blocks, showing us beautiful courtyards, back alleys, the market, and other details we easily could have missed. The tour included our tickets to the Frida Kahlo Blue House museum. Jaime had also given us useful suggestions about other Mexican artists and murals to look for during the rest of our stay in Mexico City. When we finished at the museum, Jaime was waiting right outside the exit with the car to take us back to our hotel. He was delightful throughout the day and brought exactly the right level of energy and enthusiasm to the experience. We are very happy we chose this private tour and highly recommend it.

Our tour guide, Sara was amazing. She took us to the Frida Kahlo museum and had so many extras to share about her life. She also took us to another museum of the collections of Diego Rivera. We enjoyed homemade snacks on the boats at Xochimilco and some dancing. She was able to incorporate our special requests too.

Excellent experience. Our guide, Jaime was ontime, knowledgeable and friendly. He also is respected by the locals in the areas that we visited and this put us at ease. We booked last minute and the Frida Kahlo house wasnt available as an option so he gave us another very good museum to visit. I would do this toyr again and any other tour that Jaime does as he is such a good guide. I recommend!
