ソチミルコはメキシコシティの南17マイル (28 km) に位置する農業地域であり、市の花の多くが栽培されている。 アステカ時代、この谷はかつて湖だった。 地域の人々が農地不足の打開策として、浮き葦マットに土を敷き詰めた島々を開発し、チナンパと呼ばれる庭園として利用した様子を学ぶ。 現在、これらの庭園は生態保護区となり、ユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている。

Alex was an amazing guide. Very passionate about history and knows a ton. Highly recommend.
Alex was the best guide!! He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and kept the tour going at an efficient yet relaxing pace. I would highly recommend this tour and Alex to anyone who is coming to CDMX.
Our guide, Eleazar, was truly exceptional. I appreciated his knowledge, experience and sense of humor. He answered all our questions and managed the group very well great experience!
The guide Alvaro was very good. However, some suggestions / pointers: a) the check in process was long... we were at the meeting point 10 minutes ahead of 7:50 as requested. However, we did not leave until 08:20 as the process is not a mere scanning of the tickets but some manual entry, references and waiting for people b) we then started driving in the opposite direction to a silver factory! this was not part of the itinerary and i did not understand why we were being used as a marketing group. so, by the time we reached Xochimilico, it was close to 11 am. An absolute waste of time taking us to the silver place in the opp direction c) the experience in Xochimilco itself was good d) i had only booked Xochimilco and Coyoacan without lunch and the museum as i wanted to return earlier. However, pls note that irrespective of what you have booked or not, the group returns together and it takes almost 11 hours when we are finally back at the drop off point (reported at 07:50 and retuen at about 6pm). I decided to take a cab and return earlier
Fantastic tour! Alvaro and his colleague were excellent, and our driver Charlie Carlos was wonderful. Alvaro is hilarious, energetic, and speaks excellent English. I’m so glad I added the Frida Kahlo Museum option—it was absolutely incredible. I kept saying “wow” the entire visit. This isn’t my first tour with Amigo Tours, and once again they were organized, professional, and reliable. Yes, there are a few tourist shopping stops, but nobody pressures you to buy anything. Just enjoy the experience, learn something new, and appreciate the beautiful Mexican culture. I’m giving this tour 5 stars only because 1000 stars isn’t an option. Highly recommended!

What a fun tour! ALVARO was excellent as a guide! Daniel did great driving us safely, and while Salvador was more with the other group, our interactions with him showed him to be professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended this tour, and to approach with an open mind! Let go, unwind, have fun! You will enjoy! Viva México! The bus ride is comfortable, the sights were fun and informative. Unfortunately we caught some rain (and hail) while enjoying the trajineras. But that didn't stop our group from having a great time! We put money together for some mariachis and drinks (just our boat contributed, though we were tied together at one point). We sang, we drank, we took in the beautiful sights and sounds of what makes Xochimilco and Mexico City so special. The church and Coyoacán are gorgeous. The Frida Kahlo museum is also a lovely place. She lived such a difficult life, and created a legacy of beautiful art. If you are looking to buy souvenirs at a market, the one across from the park near the museum is a perfect spot. Reasonable prices, selection/variety, and extends back a block. Even the good choice was great on this tour.
We had a great trip! Mom and two older kids. Silver store was a great bonus. The lake was great fun- MUST BRING CASH! Knick knacks are good prices, lake drinks I suggest BYOB. Coyoacán was nice. Frida Kahlo Casa Azul was cool. Lunch was in a clean and pretty restaurant with live music. Bus trip was really good: AC, bathroom, plugs for devices. Alvarado was our guide and he was funny and pleasant. Can’t think of much to improve my experience. Would recommend if you want to do multiple things and don’t want any hassle.
Excellent guides Alvaro, Ele and Charlie. The crowd size was perfect, the trip was fun. Only one suggestion, the buffet lunch was very mediocre. My husband and I hardly ate anything. Overall the tour was excellent!
Eleazar, Alvaro, and Charlie were amazing!! I’d book with them again if I were to visit Mexico City again. They were so attentive, caring, & knowledgeable. 10/10. If you’re wondering if you should book with them, let this be your sign to do it!
