This tour was fantastic! Alexa gave the tour in English, and she was phenomenal. She explained everything clearly and succinctly, and she has such a vivid presence and personality that she really made the history come alive. Highly recommend!!
Excellent tour. Almukuy afternoon.
Guide gives a lot of information about history in a short time. The tour is intensive but interesting! The boating was very nice. We sang and danced a lot with Mariachi band. The free time of 2 hours of shopping is too long. An hour is enough.
The only things worth doing are the teotihuacan pyramids and the frida kahlo museum. which i suggest you do it yourself (especially coyocan). xochimilco is kind of a tourist trap with people constantly pushing to ask you to buy things. a lot of time spent on the bus, and food was kind of meh. the rest of the history lesson you can learn online.
Dear cheeyangmusic, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. At Amigo Tours, we always strive to provide complete and high-quality experiences; however, we understand that factors such as travel times, on-site logistics, and visitor crowds can sometimes affect how the tour is experienced. We appreciate your comments regarding Xochimilco, the time spent during the tour, and the food quality, and we will certainly take them into consideration as they help us identify areas for improvement. We are glad to hear that you found the visit to Teotihuacán worthwhile. We hope you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Kind Regards from Amigo Tours. -Alma
Wonderful experience!! Thanks to Alexa and Lily and our driver Juan that took us and brought us back safely.
Great outing, highly recommend. Guides Lily and Hector were excellent. Driver Juan very helpful and a true gentleman.
We had a wonderful time with Alexa and Hector. They made the tour easy to understand and provided insight from the perspective of the indigenous people of the time up until the modern era. Amigo tours provided both English and Spanish translators and Alexa and Hector did a wonderful job translating everything in a professional manner. This was my husband's birthday, it was always his dream to visit the Pyramids and Amigo Tours made it a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we highly recommend Amigo Tours to everyone seeking a unique and personalized experience.
Wonderful experience with an excellent guide in Alissa. Also an excellent driver. Very informative on the history and precise in her instructions. It was a lovely day.
Great tour of Mexico City, well organized, I particularly liked Teotihuacan and Frida Kahlo's home. Great 2 day tour.
The tour itself was very good and the price was great for two days. The buses were nice and the guide Miriam was wonderful! We especially loved the day at UNAM, Frida house and Xochimilco. The only downside was the absolutely chaotic check-in process in the morning. Both days it was so disorganized and they didn’t have us on their lists even though we booked weeks in advance and recd several confirmation messages. Because the morning was such a mess it really delayed the start of the tour by at least an hour and a half.
Dear alfamare2003, Thank you sincerely for taking the time to share such a comprehensive and honest review. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we appreciate both the positive aspects you highlighted and the thoughtful suggestions regarding the areas that could be improved. We are delighted to hear that you found the two‑day experience to be of great value, and that you enjoyed the itinerary, the comfort of the buses, and especially your time with Miriam. She is truly a remarkable guide—warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and deeply committed to ensuring that every visitor connects with the stories and significance behind each place. Knowing that you particularly enjoyed UNAM, the Frida Kahlo house, and Xochimilco is wonderful, as these locations embody so much of Mexico’s artistic and cultural essence. At the same time, we deeply appreciate your honesty about the morning check‑in process. We are very sorry to learn that it felt chaotic and disorganized, especially considering you had booked weeks in advance and received several confirmations. Your description of the delay and confusion is extremely valuable because it gives us a clear picture of what needs to be addressed. Please rest assured that your comments will be shared directly with our operations team so that we can refine and improve the check‑in logistics. Starting a tour smoothly—and on time—makes a world of difference, and we genuinely thank you for helping us see how we can serve travelers better. We hope that despite this inconvenience, the richness of the experiences, the quality of the guidance, and the beauty of the sites made your journey worthwhile. It would be an honor to welcome you again in the future and offer you a much smoother start to what we hope will be another wonderful adventure. Kind regards, Ramos, Quality Team
