Booked day prior. Should have done a couple days before arrival as times were limited or sold out . Pantheon area is very busy. Long lines to purchase tickets and then wait in another line to enter. This guided tour was 45-60 min. Guido was a very knowledgeable guide! Prior purchase allowed us to enter and bypass long lines. Worth the extra cost-$31 euro pp.

Oh my goodness…..our guide Annalise was AMAZING! She took her time explaining everything about the Pantheon in amazing detail. Made us feel like we were back when the building was being built, used, etc. I would highly recommend her and this tour.

The tour was really informative, explaining the historical context around the Pantheon and how Rome was back then, and explaining how it was built and the forgotten knowledge we've lost. The admission fee was well worth it; informative and knowledgeable guide, fast tracked entry, and time to explore the building afterwards. The Pantheon is beautiful and you struggle to comprehend it's 1900 years old. The crowds were manageable inside, and you had room to explore and look at everything.
