Great tour, well run. Guide Juan Corona was excellent. The ruins and cenotes were very nice to visit.

Beautiful experience on the Costa Maya, accompanied by Juan who was truly helpful, professional, and friendly. We initially visited the ruins of Chaccoben and discovered a beautiful, well-kept oasis with lush vegetation and therefore lots of greenery. Afterward we went to what I would define as an earthly paradise, the lagoon of seven colors. To navigate it, we took a small boat expertly piloted by Armando, who was also helpful and very friendly; he took us to the most wonderful part of the lagoon where we swam and tasted some delicious slices of fresh local pineapple, kindly offered by them. Finally, we were accompanied to a typical local restaurant where we had lunch after choosing our dish from tacos and quesadillas. For the entire duration of the excursion, we were able to enjoy bottles of cold water and various drinks. Highly recommended

Caro was the best guide to the Mayan ruins and to Bacalar! The lagoon was amazing. It had the prettiest water I have ever seen! I did the combo tour to the ruins and lagoon. The ruins were interesting, but the lagoon is a must visit! I would do this excursion again (but only the lagoon portion) if I ever go back. I enjoyed the ruins, but once is enough. I could go back to Bacalar any day!

Chac Chi did a wonderful job of providing myself and three other cruisers a wonderful excursion. They showed real flexibility in making adjustments along the way when things they couldn’t control interfered with the planned agenda. Their knowledge of the Mayan Culture and Temples was excellent and their willingness to go the extra mile in many small ways made the day memorable.

Our last minute cruise excursion ended up being a private tour as we were the only two couples! Leo was AMAZING! So personable and friendly. He really welcomed us and made sure we had a great time!

Juan and Miguel were both wonderful. Juan was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the ruins and history of the area. We had a private tour for 4. They got us there ahead of the crowds! The Boat ride and Lagoon was a marvelous way to wrap up the day. Highly recommend!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful day visiting the Chacchoben Ruins and Bacalar Lagoon, and we cannot recommend this excursion highly enough! From the very beginning, this company was amazing with communication. A few days before our excursion, they contacted us through WhatsApp with very detailed instructions on exactly where and how to meet them. The port is very busy, so this was incredibly helpful. They even sent maps and photos so there was no confusion whatsoever. We felt completely safe and taken care of from the moment we arrived. This was not a cruise-line excursion—we booked through a third party—but we had absolutely no concerns about making it back to our cruise on time. We returned with plenty of time to spare. The excursion itself was fantastic. It was a very small group, which made the entire day feel relaxed and personal. We never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to explore the incredible Chacchoben ruins and, even more importantly, enough time to truly enjoy Bacalar Lagoon. The lagoon was simply stunning! Francisco was an excellent guide. He shared so much fascinating information about the history of the area, the ruins, and the places we were visiting. He was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and made sure we understood and appreciated what we were seeing. Our driver, Manuel, was also excellent and made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire day. If you're visiting this area and want to experience some of the very best it has to offer, I highly recommend this excursion. The communication, organization, small-group experience, history, beautiful scenery, and relaxed pace made it a truly memorable day. PS: Lunch and snacks were all very yummy!

Our tour guide Raphael was amazing and told us about the history. It was obvious he has a passion for what he does. Only 2 of us booked and we were so thankful they didn’t cancel us. Any other company would have, however he gave us a private tour of the Mayan Ruins, stopped along side of road to buy fresh honey pineapple, mango, and dragon fruit. It was served to us on the boat at the 7 colors lagoon that was so clear it was white rather than blue! White sand and fresh water and an excellent vibe. We were able to swim there for about an hour in waste to neck deep water. Our boat driver and his daughter were kind. 3rd stop was at Tacos Locos (we chose for the fresh tortillas). Raphael was our tour guide and driver. He spoke excellent English and we always felt safe. With 12 years of experience, it truly showed. We tipped well and he was worth every penny. He even stopped at a local liquor store at our request. 100% recommend this company. Drive between stops are about 30-45minutes each. Coke water and snacks also provided.

Rafael was amazing during our time in Puerto Costa Maya. Very descriptive during our tour of the ruins and had some great stories about the 7 color cenote. He goes above and beyond! He got us some fruit to try and showed us a good place to buy souvenirs! He took care of us.
