It was very nice experience, however first snorkling area is somewhat dangerous and people don't know how to swim should avoid the first area only other areas are quiet. The guide (moris) was very helpful and friendly. The return from nusa Penida to the harbor was very tough and they should decrease their speed.

I took penida day trip it was amazing and wonderful.my guide Dewa was super nice guy.he is not just guide but he was like my friend.we spent the time for exploring east and west side. The road on the island was not so easy and bumpy but caus of his skill and. His entertainment make me the trip more enjoy able: and the view was super wonderful, kelingking cliff was my best one from the whole spots. I really recomended dewa as your guide to explore the island

First the good parts - hotel pickup was on time, flawless pickups and drop-offs at all ends, tour covered 4 beaches, the guide showed good places to take pictures and took pictures.. Not so good : - the "English - guide" in the tour description is misleading. There was no guide. Ours was a private tour. The driver was the totally inadequate "guide". The driver who did the hotel pickup and dropoff was prompt and attentive, but knew very little English. The driver on the island also knew only a little English. All he was interested in was to take us to the Instagram picture locations and help take those pictures. Inspite of being native to the island, he knew very little about the island and offered no information. He was not keen or enthusiastic. We eventually stopped asking. - The boat trips were through 'Axe Stone'. The outward boat ride was horrible. The boat was stuffy and every seat taken. Seats were dirty and life vests are too filthy even to touch. Passengers were forced to buy overpriced drinks while boarding if they wanted to take upper deck. The return trip had a slightly better boat. - the 'included lunch' was too basic- one entre and one drink - from a special menu. The serving size was too small and we had to order additional paid menu items.
