It was a good experience overall the pick up and drop off was smooth. My one complaint is that they offer different packages and the land tour+snorkeling was a lot of driving on bad roads to just look at some beach (you don’t even get the swim at them). Also, the lunch offered came in a smaller portion so I would advise bringing cash if you want more. If you’re looking for just a snorkeling experience I recommend that package. Thank you

Before visiting, I didn’t really understand what made Manta Bay so special. But once we were in the water and I saw the manta moving below us, it suddenly made sense. There was something different about seeing it in its natural environment rather than just watching videos or photos. The experience made Manta Bay feel like more than just another snorkeling stop in Nusa Penida.

The cliffs were the first thing that caught my attention when we got closer to Nusa Penida. Seeing them from the boat gave me a completely different first impression of the island compared to all the photos I had seen before. The coastline looked huge from the water, and I remember just looking at it for a while before we even arrived. It made me really curious to see what the island would look like once we got there.

What surprised me about Nusa Penida was how different each part of the island felt. Along the coast, everything felt open and breezy, while the inland areas had a completely different atmosphere with greener surroundings and quieter roads. Then we would suddenly end up at a viewpoint overlooking the ocean, and later experience the island from the water while snorkeling. It never felt like we were seeing the same kind of place over and over again. Every time we moved to another part of the island, the atmosphere changed with it, which made exploring the whole island feel much more interesting.

I’m usually checking my phone whenever I’m sitting in a car, but somehow I barely touched it during our trip around Nusa Penida. There was always something outside that caught my attention, whether it was the coastline, the hills, or just the scenery along the road. I kept putting my phone down because I didn’t want to miss what was coming next. That doesn’t happen very often on my trips, so I guess that says a lot about how much I enjoyed exploring the island.

What I enjoyed most about exploring Nusa Penida was how much the landscape changed as we drove around the island. One moment we were passing coastal views, then suddenly the road took us through greener areas, hills, and completely different surroundings. I actually enjoyed the journey between the main stops because I never really knew what kind of view would appear next. It made the whole island feel much bigger and more varied than I expected.

One of the funniest moments was getting off the fast boat in Nusa Penida. After being hit by the sea breeze the whole way, everyone stepped onto the pier with our hair sticking out in every possible direction😭 We looked like we had just survived a tiny hurricane. We couldn’t even fix our hair properly because we were too busy laughing at each other. It was such a silly little moment, but somehow that’s one of the things I remember most from the trip.

I took the Sanur to Nusa Penida package and had a really enjoyable day from start to finish. The fast boat ride was probably one of my favorite parts because it made the trip feel like an adventure before we even reached the island. Once we arrived, we continued exploring different spots around Nusa Penida and taking plenty of photos. It was definitely a tiring day, but I was happy with how much we got to see in one trip.

It was my first time taking a fast boat, and I was honestly a bit nervous when it started moving. The first few minutes felt strange because the boat was going pretty fast and I could really feel the waves. But after getting used to it, the nervous feeling slowly turned into excitement. I ended up enjoying the ride more than I expected, and arriving at Nusa Penida made the whole experience feel even more real.

I really liked doing Nusa Penida as a package tour because everything felt much easier. We started from Sanur, took the boat to the island, and had the day planned out without having to figure out all the details ourselves.
