完全なバチカン：美術館、システィーナ礼拝堂＆サン・ピエトロ大聖堂

We did “complete Vatican: museum, Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s.” We met at the meeting point and were given our entry ticket abd headset for the tour. Our tour guide Julia was incredible story teller and a wealth of knowledge about the art and history. She was accommodating to our kids and so fun! Loved her! We still had to wait in line with the other tour groups to get through security, but it wasn’t too bad as they have timed entry. We started in the courtyard discussing the history/ Sistine chapel since you can’t talk in the chapel. Moved to the museum. We definitely needed a tour guide or you would spend time looking at interesting things that aren’t the most important. We bypassed a lot of the rooms where there were restorations and not original artwork. We got redirected to some upper rooms that extended our tour by at least 45 min and wish we didn’t have to do that. Raphael rooms were HOT and crowded. Sistine chapel does have benches on the sides if you can claim a spot. Otherwise there is no places to sit. 2 bathrooms the whole 4 hour tour (at the beginning and in the basement before going in the Sistine chapel). Tour included the direct entrance from the Sistine chapel to St. Peter’s. Worth it to not have to go around and wait in line, especially with kids. Brief tour of St Peter’s (about 30 min). The whole tour was LONG-4 hours total (with the detour) by the time we got to St. Peter’s, we were exhausted and starving. Then we were able to roam the basilica and square as long as we wanted. It was incredible tour! I would go with a shorter tour for young kids, but ours did great and Julia was super accommodating to our kids.

Involves a lot of walking and stairs. Guides are not allowed to stop in Vatican so only "break" is 15 minutes while inside the Sistine Chapel. That said, amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Vatican! Guide was very knowledgeable and sweet.

Extremely skilled guide but unfortunately tried to cram in as much information as possible. Spoke too fast, very hard to keep up, you lose focus, the trip took 4 hours. Queues for everything, but it was expected.

This wasn’t my favourite experience, but I think the tour guide did his job well. It was extremely hot weather and he did his best to keep us out of the sun and comfortable. I don’t like the ear-piece they provide for the audio, it’s very hard to wear and kept falling off my ear. Instead I wish they provided over-the-head headphones so they are more comfortable to wear. If you choose a tour like this, expect it to be extremely busy, apparently there are 30,000 people who visit the Vatican every day. Again, this isn’t the tour company’s fault - just something to keep in mind if you’re not expecting it. You do have to keep a close eye on your guide because there are many tour groups in the same space at the same time.

Very good, the guide Vincenzo was very attentive and explained everything very well.

Best tour of the Vatican. Our guide knew everything about everything which made the day interesting rather than looking at the history without the background. Strongly recommend.

Enzo was very knowledgeable and engaging as a guide. We had two eleven year olds with us who insisted we give him 5 stars as we all really enjoyed the tour. Even with 100 degree weather and the crowds, it was still worth it.

The time in the Vatican Museum was much too short... instead, a history lesson was held in the museum's garden in 104-degree heat for an hour. Unfortunately, the basilica was also closed.

Vincenzo gave a very energetic and thorough tour. We enjoyed every minute
