Our guide Carl is superb! We couldn’t recommend him more. He made the tour light and the information interesting and understandable. One of the best guides we were able to come across. The skip the line part is really convenient and the tour does not feel rushed.
Seeing the Vatican has to be on everyone’s bucket list. St. Peter’s is such a beautiful building and and the Vatican so important to European civilization. Having a guide made all the difference for me. Putting the story and details to the art, culture and history of the place was much better than trying to read pamphlets and markers. Of course you should research the place but having a person present the place in a timely manner was too good to be missed.
Very well organised , our guide was very informative . We enjoyed all the museums and especially the Sistine chapel. It was as good as we were expecting and ending the tour in the basilica was a great experience
Our Guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and skip the line was worth it as the amount of visitors was unbelievable so likely without skip the line we would never make it inside. The only thing I would recommend to TripAdvisor is to send a reminder of your meet up spot 30 minutes before hand as for some tours you meet at the attractions and others at the tour operator so ensure to scroll down on your ticket to check for meet up spot. I would highly recommend.
Skipping the line is a very good Idea. The line is long always. The tour guide is very well informed and keeps good track of the group.
This tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide Lara was incredible! She is so knowledgeable and without a doubt kind, welcoming and absolutely lovely. The views are breathtaking, there are no words to truly describe the beauty you will see on this tour. It is a MUST if you are in Rome!
Easy instructions and location to meet our guide , Andy who was exceptional, very funny , engaging and extremely knowledgeable, made it very easy for people to understand by using comparisons , illustrations and talking through the facts about statues and paintings and their history. The tour was absolutely incredible and breathtaking throughout . Our tour started at 8am and worked through each building finishing in St Peter’s Basilica to then walk around by ourselves which was truly amazing. The queues outside each place for people without pre booked tickets went on for literally miles and the key tip is to book all tours in advance without question! What a truly memorable visit - thank you so much Andy !

It was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide Carl was fabulous. It is obvious that he truly has a passion for his work and for what he calls “ his office” where he gets to work. His stories and facts about the art and the artists were engaging and he made me want to remember every detail of what we were seeing. ( impossible to do because he gave us so many!). He also made a great effort to remember where all in our group were from and was able to engage us about things relevant to our countries. He made this trip much more informative and fun than I had ever imagined it would be.
