A little difficult to see my name on just a phone screen but able to connect and had a very comfortable ride to Southampton. Giorgio gave us information about different sites we passed and we were delivered safely to our hotel.

The ride to Southampton was fine. Unfortunately driver was over an hour late picking us up at the airport. Once we made contact in the airport, couldn't remember where he had parked his car. I understand he filled in at the last minute but you don't want to wait for someone after getting off a long flight to start with.

I paid an upgraded price to have the driver meet us inside the terminal with a sign board and assist us with taking luggage to the car for the trip to the hotel. We had a scheduled arrival time and the company providing the service through Viator was provided by their request our flight number and arrival gate so they could monitor arrival time to insure they were there on time. Our plane arrived almost exactly as scheduled. We went through immigration and customs, retrieved our bags and went to the designated meeting area. Nobody was there. We waited. After 20-30 minutes I attempted to call the number we were provided. There was no answer. We finally received a call from our driver who was outside in the car lineup area. I didn't know where that was, and that's why I paid a premium for meeting inside and baggage assistance. He said it would take him a long time to park, and we were very close so we should just come outside and he would tell us which car was his. So we did make our way outside and saw him waving at us from his car. We pushed our luggage over and he loaded it in his car and we had an uneventful trip to the hotel.

This was well worth every penny we paid for it. He told us interesting stories about England and the US and navigated the detour with experience.

Driver was late 30/45 minutes to get us at airport. Never apologized for this. Did not say a word the drive from airport to Southampton.

Great experience all around! Our driver Gregory was prompt to meet us at the airport, very courteous and even gave us some history of Southampton! Definitely recommend cab my ride!

We paid for a minivan to ensure there would be enough space for our luggage. The tour operator called to ask what luggage we had to see if it would fit in a sedan instead. I agreed to the sedan provided it would be big enough not realizing that there would be no refund for the price difference for the cheaper sedan booking. The tour operator also added £15 charge saying it was the airport parking fee. The signs at the airport said the fee was £7. The morning of our pickup I sent a message to the tour operator asking where our driver was since they had sent us a message he was 15 minutes away 30 minutes earlier. They never responded but the driver’s tracking showed him on his way to us so I am assuming he went to the wrong cruise terminal. The “what’s included” section should be updated on this experience to say to just includes the car service. We were not offered any water or any of the other options listed. We did successfully make it to the airport.
