Our pickup at the ship in Southampton went smoothly. He was on time and got us to London in plenty of time to enjoy our day. Only glitch was our hotel was on a street that couldn’t be accessed directly. He drove around for a while until he realized that. Once he did he got us as close as he could and helped carry our bags the rest of the way. We really appreciated that since my wife and are older and it would have been hard for us to carry them. He’s a good guy!

Our original driver had to be replaced last minute, but that was handled very efficiently. The new driver wasnt someone I would want to ride with again...he drove too fast in crowded areas, then he was going to make us get out and walk to find our hotel with all of our luggage because he couldnt figure out where the hotel was. I had to look it up on google maps and direct him.
I had arranged a personal car and driver to pick us (2 people) from South Hampton cruise terminal and take us directly to our hotel in London. Our driver, Natalia Cristina was great but she was also driving someone to Heathrow first, which delayed us but more than 1 hour. That was not the private ride we requested and it caused us some inconvenience for our plans of the afternoon.

As outlined in the service details, passengers travelling to Heathrow Airport and Central London may share the vehicle, and additional pick-ups or drop-offs can take place along the route. In your case, the Heathrow Airport drop-off was completed first. Heathrow is located directly on the route between Southampton and London and typically requires only a very small diversion. According to our records, there was no delay of over one hour caused by this stop, and the journey operated in line with the published itinerary. We understand that shared transfers may not be suitable for every traveller, particularly if a direct vehicle is preferred. For customers seeking a dedicated vehicle with no additional stops, we also offer private transfer options. The amount of money my husband and I spent on this transfer we should not jave had to share it with other people. Because the vehicle had seats facing each other and the other passengers got all the seats facing forward, I had to sit backwards facing. This causes me to get carsick. I had to sit sideways all the way to London from Sputhampton. Plus no AC was on in the car. Driver was nice but didn't communicate with us to tell us if we were close or who would be dropped off first. That would help us to be prepared. Just so costly to have had to share the ride.

Our Driver was waiting on us at disembarkation in Southampton. We communicated/texted and had calls regarding the time and location. Prior to meeting her and she had reached out the day before and introduced herself to us. She assisted us with our luggage and was very pleasant on the drive to London. We enjoyed Natalia.

Be very careful how you book. I booked a shuttle for up to 6 people They charged me about the same as a private even though there were 4 passengers. Also had to wait over 1 hour and 1/2 for them. Viator said they would only wait 20 minutes after their given pickup time. My driver waited 45 minutes.

In this case, there were a total of 3 passengers travelling from Southampton towards Heathrow Airport, with drop-offs at two Heathrow hotels located along the same route, so no significant detours or delays occurred during the journey itself. Your scheduled pick-up time was 09:00 AM. Our driver arrived early, around 08:00 AM, and because you were already ready, the journey began before the scheduled departure time. As this was a shared shuttle service, we also had to wait for the remaining passengers to complete cruise disembarkation and customs procedures before departure. We completely understand that waiting can be frustrating, however we could not leave confirmed passengers behind. Our responsibility is to ensure that all booked guests are safely collected and transported. We would also like to mention that our shuttle service is a door-to-door service. This means passengers are picked up directly from the cruise terminal, assisted with luggage, and dropped off directly at their final destination. There is no need to use trains, buses, stations, or additional transportation connections, which many travellers find far more convenient after a cruise. While we are sorry this experience did not fully match your expectations, we do appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to explain the situation.
