We had a fantastic experience on this tour from start to finish. The hotel pickup was smooth, our driver was funny and personable, and our guide inside the salt mine was exceptional. He had worked at the mine for more than 30 years, was incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly loved what he did. It made for a memorable visit. I also wanted to share some information for anyone needing a wheelchair-accessible tour, as this isn't obvious when booking. The Wieliczka Salt Mine offers accessible tours using elevators, but these are generally only available on the first and last tours of the day and are not open to the general public. If your group includes a wheelchair user, the entire group can join the accessible tour together. In our case, we had one wheelchair user and five additional guests, and everyone stayed together. To book, reserve the closest available time slot on Viator, then message Cracow For You - Local Tours & More and explain that you need the wheelchair-accessible tour and your preferred time. They were extremely responsive and handled all the arrangements for us. While our final hotel pickup time wasn't confirmed until a day or two before the tour, everything had been organized in advance. They also arranged for a wheelchair to be available at the mine, which I highly recommend because of the unique elevator system used there. One thing we weren't expecting: the mine requested proof of disability to use the wheelchair. If possible, bring documentation. Alternatively, identification showing age 65+ may also be accepted. Overall, this was an outstanding experience with excellent customer service, great accessibility accommodations, and an amazing guide. Highly recommended.

As expected a pleasant experience. Our guide Jerry went above and beyond keeping us informed at all times. He even toured us to a few other interesting sites as Schindler's factory and the Jewish ghetto wall. When we were looking for a taxi to the train station, he even arranged it for us. Best guide in Krakow!

Great driver Peter very friendly and informative. Guide was experienced and gave us a great insight into the mines. The tour was a great experience but you may prefer to travel independently as the turn around was really tight and there was no time to look around the shops or take in the area for a drink/coffee. It felt like a conveyor belt. Some people felt claustrophobic and bailed out early on. There are a lot of steps just to get to level 1 -380 maybe enquire about tours for the less able.

Had a fun and interesting experience doing the Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour by Cracow for You. Jerry, our driver was great— from excellent communication about hotel pickup, to interesting historical commentary enroute to the mine, to helpfulness with restaurant recommendations, he could not have been any better or more friendly. The mine guide, Martin gave us an excellent tour of the fascinating Wieliczka Salt Mine highlighting the incredible work of local miners over the centuries, including their construction of an underground church made of salt.

Jerry was an excellent tour guide! Very punctual and picked us up exactly at our hotel! He gave a lot of facts along the way during the drive there and back and even took us on a small tour of the Jewish ghetto and quarter before dropping us all back at our hotels. Highly recommend!

We had a great time visiting the salt mines . Our driver Jerry was brilliant - good communication about pick up times, great conversation in the car - very informative . And also friendly and funny . The mines were def worth the visit and we had a great guide there too .

Our driver was Peter/Piotr who was very informative on the drive to the salt mine and back. The communications was great throughout, with updates from Jerry by WhatsApp. The guided tour was very good by Katarzyna, although someone should have told us that the walks to the lift was a 20 minute guided walk! Overall the tour was great and very professionally managed.
