Very entertaining and interactive for kids and adults.
We had a Shrektacular time! 🤩 I visited earlier this week with my Son ( he has Autism & learning disabilities ) He became overwhelmed before we went inside the experience, (mostly due to a new/unfamiliar environment) the staff kindly loaned him some ear defenders which made a huge difference! 🌟 They were so amazing to him A few minutes into the experience he was laughing and dancing along, loving the storyline and wowed at the effects, the bus ride was Shrektastic! My son was smiling & laughing so much The fortune teller had us in stitches! She was hilarious ! 😆 We would definitely visit again Thank you for the amazing work guys :) We opted for the Shrek journal as a keepsake we absolutely love it and with the personalized photos too :) P.S sorry! we accidentally left with the ear defenders, I will post them back to you asap 🤗
This isn’t awful but it was just a sound idea poorly delivered. The actors speak far too quickly for children to follow and understand. The 4d experience is very low grade for 2026 The lack of meeting a range of characters is an obvious fail, that is what the kids would definitely want. There needs to be things for children to actually do in the experience. The staff (not actors) were very helpful which was great. Overall it just feels very ‘meh’ and it’s a shame as the films are so dynamic and iconic, this ‘experience’ is WAY below par given how fantastic the films are. Merlin, time for an update or upgrade or a whole new attraction as this is not up to standards that we’ve come to expect.
Please be warned and do not take any children under 6 years old or possibly older. This warning is hidden in the FAQS, and is not clearly stated. This is a very dark experience with witches and dragons and dark scenarios. I found the mirror walk particularly disturbing. My 3 year old was very frightened and upset and sobbing as he expected to see the friendly Shrek! No sympathy from the organisers, just out to make money Be warned

London for children aged 6-12, however we do not have an age limit as we know there are some very brave younger knights and princesses who enjoy visiting Far Far Away. We booked because we were in London for a show and we have recently got a Merlin pass. Would I liked to have paid the price for it without it - no probably not. However it was good fun and engaging and the kids loved it. You move around a lot and get to interact with many people so I imagine it will also depend who you get but we had some great characters who made it fun. I love the concept. The shop at the end was very highly priced but nice bits in it.

Underwhelming experience with very short notice very well flowing sketch from one room to another… effects are mediocre for the quality of dream works movie and could have been done a lot better… no translation resulting on half of the group not understanding what was going on…
This is a shame, all our characters are sad to hear that you didn’t enjoy your recent adventure…. looks like Rumpelstiltskin might have won this time after all! Unfortunately it was not the experience that we had hoped for. We understand that at peak times there are big queues and fully expected to have to queue a little but during the experience however, the queue was poorly managed with people cutting in and having to wait for over an hour in one section! When we finally got into the first section we were told that we would have another wait! Eventually we got through then they had to close a part of the attraction due to a medical emergency, they were visibly filling the time but by this point all the people had had enough - it felt like we were part of a failed apprentice task! Really disappointing experience and would not rush back or recommend.

Everything was OK except that no headsets for French translation so that it is at least compressible for the little ones who do not speak English

Very strange experience from start to finish. Staff at the beginning get you all hyped and exited as they put you in the lift to head up to the attraction. Only, you are not quite there yet, we had to q for at least another 35 minutes which was deflating. The attraction itself was all a bit weird and the plot was difficult to follow. It certainly wasn't horrendous but as others mention if we paid full price rather than Merlin it would be a different story. A shrek adventure and you only see him as a character at the very end for a photo where you have to pay as no phones allowed. Seems very unfair and like a trap. You have great staff and the space to make this spectacular and memorable for the right reasons, a few tweaks could improve the experience.
