This is my first time booking an excursion with Viator, the guide was a few minutes late but kept us informed as well as shared a lot of cool facts about Canada that we didn’t know. The guide was also communicative via messaging. The reason for my rating was other logistics. I’m not sure where confusion happened but I ended up paying for a tour I thought came with my ticket after the excursion was over. I think the guide should’ve told us we would be paying out of pocket before we even took the tour, in case we didn’t even have cash. Secondly, it was hard to understand our guide and several other people agreed his English and Chinese weren’t clear. Third, the driver dropped everyone else off at their cars or hotels and had us take an uber back to ours even though we were directly down the street. I would book another trip on this app but I’ll read more closely next time.

Good overview of the...
Good overview of the Niagara Falls part of Canada. Make sure to include the boat ride and journey behind the Falls. It was a highlight. Our driver/guide Li was excellent.

A fantastic day
This was a fantastic, easy and intimate way to see Niagra Falls and its surrounds from Toronto. Our host Li was the perfect blend of guide and letting us have our own time. His suggestions on making the most of our time were valuable. Definitely recommend this tour.

Very long wait
Super long wait times for the boat trip. We were left completely on our own; it did not take place with a guide or in a group.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to face such long queues, especially on a holiday when the Niagara Falls area experiences an overwhelming influx of visitors. We regret that this impacted your overall experience. Regarding the guided tour, we would like to clarify that our tour guide did accompany the group throughout the scheduled itinerary. However, the final stop of the day was intentionally left as free time for guests to explore independently, as we believe this offers a chance for personal enjoyment and discovery. We completely understand, though, that the exceptionally large crowds that day made it difficult for anyone to fully enjoy the area, with long lines forming even outside local shops in the town. We truly value your patronage and regret that your experience fell short of expectations. Please be assured that we take your comments seriously and will review our scheduling and communication processes to better manage such situations in the future. Niagara day trip
A good day out. Quite a long way to Niagara Falls but worth it! The other destinations on the trip are less exciting but may be of interest to some people.
