The pick-up location they chose is one of many Shakespeare theaters. But the staff doesn’t seem to understand that and we waited an hour for nothing. We would have been much better off just taking an uber to Gettysburg and back as the tour was just a van ride with nothing else.

However, it appears that you were waiting at 7 Street NW instead. We also acknowledge that your overall experience fell short of expectations—particularly if the tour felt like little more than a van ride. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we take your comments seriously. Once again, we are sorry for the disappointment. Galen was a great host, he was friendly and warm. Galen made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of the entire trip to Gettysburg. Pick up was easy and communication was great before the trip and the morning of. The Gettysburg museum was incredible and the downtown Gettysburg area was great to explore. We had a fantastic tour with Garry the tour guide from Gettysburg museum, he was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The entire day was great and I would definitely recommend this tour. A huge thanks to Galen and Garry!

We had a fantastic full day tour to Gettysburg. Galen Ren was a great tour guide who made sure we were comfortable and happy. He was very kind and we could not be more thankful. He also provided bug spray which came in very handy! Gettysburg was an incredible experience, from the museum to the downtown area - we would recommend the local artifact store near Starbucks. We had a battlefield tour with a local qualified tour guide Gary - he was just as fantastic and knowledgeable. Overall, we could not recommend this tour enough (especially in this early September heat).

This is one of the best trip that I have taken. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and share many interesting historical facts about revolutionary war and civil war. He is amazing and lead a great tour of Gettysburg.

Dress for walking on uneven surfaces. Inquire about group size and vehicle for transportation. Enough time to see everything. Film and Cyclorama were wonderful. Driver Galen was knowledgeable. Had a great lunch downtown at Lincoln's cafe. Great menu.

Galen did a great job! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was prompt and courteous and made sure we knew when and where to meet. He even went out of his way to deliver us to our hotel afterwards. The tour was very interesting and educational and gave us a new perspective on the Civil War.

The Gettysburg experience is amazing especially if you’re interested in the history of the Civil War. The battlefield was larger than I expected. Our guide Galen was super nice and helpful!

Great day trip: Galen was excellent driver/guide and the Gettysburg activities were excellent: time at the museum and fascinating cyclorama, time for lunch in the town (we went to Blue and Gray which was good food at a fair price), and then a 2.5hr guided tour of the battlefield which really brought it to life. Overall an excellent day.

Very good tour! Driver was very knowledgeable about the sites heading from DC to Gettysburg and eager to make sure we were comfortable. Our Gettysburg Park guide was very nice and provided very thorough descriptions of the events on the battle field!
