The whole experience was amazing. The guides were excellent, they truly cared about your safety. We felt it was worth the price paid. Absolutely would recommend.
Communication for pickup was great ahead of time. Drive was super late. We paid for dunns river, blue hole and tubing. Got to dunns river (5 mins from resort), told other 2 parts were cancelled and they offered konoko falls (already doing on something else...also basic.. and beach). Im sorry what do you think ppl are doing on the resort? Why didnt you tell us BEFORE we got on the bus?! After i told them no, they said they could take us back after dunns river for $50 transportation fee... wtf. 5 mins away drive...Riu. was told ok fine no $50 after a stink was made about it and that we could rebook the other 2 activities for another day and they would drive us back after dunns river. Line up to wait over 30 mins for wrist bands to enter, no shade. Side note, 100% do dunns river, was beautiful and had fun with ppl in our group. There is a tour guide that works for dunns river who was awesome. Ask for Trevor. Get back to the bus to find out the driver lost his keys...one job homie! Not only did all of us on the tour hold up the guys from dunns river we were out there for prob about 40 mins. No water, no money and all our stuff trapped in the bus. FINALLY get our stuff and obvisouly cancelled the rebooking of the other 2 things.
We are happy that communication for pickup was great and that you found Dunn's River to be beautiful. Usually we would have told you ahead of time that the locations, Blue Hole and Calypso Tubing (same River) was closed. But we only found out officially when you got to Dunns River Falls. Island Gully Blue Hole is the only company licensed to do water testing to determine its safety. Calypso Tubing also uses the same River. So we could only tell you that the locations were closed after we received the official confirmation from Island Gully Blue Hole. The safety of our guest is our number one priority. We had hoped that you would be able to go the following day to be able to experience these activities. Usually we offer alternative activities, even though it may cost us more, as we want to ensure that you still have a good time and get to enjoy some of the amazing activities that Ocho Rios has to offer. The supervisor mentioned that the US$50 was a misunderstanding, as there was another group onboard your bus who was to make this payment. He said he had asked you for the US$50 in error and was immediately corrected by the driver that the payment was to be collected from the other group. We do apologize for this misunderstanding and we will continue to strengthen our communications so this does not reoccur in the future. There is no additional or hidden fees included in roundtrip transportation from Riu Ocho Rios. All payments for roundtrip transportation from Riu Ocho Rios and all entry fees are included in payment for the tour. We also apologize for the driver who had to run back for the keys to the bus at the lunch room. The supervisor said he let you inside the vehicle while the driver left for the keys. I understand however, that it was a hot day and you had just completed climbing Dunn's River Falls, so standing for any additional time must had been difficult and felt like a long time. We loved this tour! The Dunns fall were our favourite. The tour was jam packed but never felt rushed. Sunshine and Godfrey were amazing and kept our bus entertained throughout.
Overall, this was a good experience. The port was very busy and chaotic, and there was just one ship there. It took almost an hour from getting checked in to the excursion until we left, way too long in my opinion. The AC bus was nice, our driver Godfrey was wonderful. We went to Dunn’s River Falls first. It was beautiful, a tad strenuous hiking up the waterfalls, but everyone in our group of 30 did it except one. The guides were AMAZING! Must have water shoes and you get completely soaked. Next we went to the Blue Hole, it was pretty and lots of people jumped in from different heights. The life jackets they give you STINK, so be prepared. Next we tubed down the river, the water was cold but totally worth it. We had our very own guide because there was just two of us, took about 45 mins. Our drier Godfrey was there to pick us up at the end of the river tubing. We left our belongings on the bus all day long and it was safe and nothing was stolen. I tipped at each stop and then our driver. Everyone was so nice and I was happy with this experience. Just a little too much waiting at each stop:)
Highly recommend! A great activity for adrenaline junkies. Good variety of activities from water tubing to climbing the falls and also the blue hole. You need to be brave not for the feint of heart!! But really good fun along the way and nice group to enjoy the experience with. Excellent friendly drivers and tour guides. Bring some small bills for tips which are very deserved. Attended as part of a cruise to Ocho Rios port. A must do activity when in the area. Ps get the jerk chicken from Linda’s!
Tour bus , and blue holes guides were excellent, the three star review comes feom the pushy photographer at Dunns river falls, you can not preview your photos prior to purchase andI had seen the poor quality would have never made the purchase. Beware future travelers.

CJ was our guide, and he was awesome. He went out of his way to get pictures of our daughter and granddaughters. It was a wonderful experience, recommended for everyone. And the falls were beautiful!!
An excellent experience from start to finish. Great communications on the build and say of the tour, letting you know exactly who your driver was and precise time of collection. Really friendly, helpful, fun staff who take pride in making your day an enjoyable experience. The Blue hole and Dunns River falls are a must if you visit Jamaica. Would definitely recommend this company if booking excursions in the area.
We had a great time! Everyone from our driver to the crew who assisted us at each location were all very friendly, professional and fun.
