The excellent knowledge of the guide about everything ! He was very welcoming and made time for us to see everything we wanted to see. He helped keep us together and didn’t push anyone to move along faster than they wanted to.

My dad fainted from the heat, the entire group was unbelievably kind. They didn’t continue the tour until my dad was taken care of. The guide clearly knowledgeable. I’m sad we didn’t get to fully use his knowledge. He went and grabbed the medics and stayed with us. As far as personal touch and not being just a number in a group, they really nailed it. It was a huge kindness. Unfortunately we left Rome the next day but when we return I plan to do this again and get the full tour.

This trip was amazing and our guide Claudia was brilliant and told us so many things. Go early in the morning - we had the trip at 9:45 and there were soooo many people but you could still take photos.

Unfortunately this trip didn't quote go to plan, I visited Rome for 4 days over Easter. I booked 2 trips with Viator, neither of which happened. The first one the underground colosseum tour was cancelled by them the day before and they had no space to rebook me. This one was even worse they let me turn up to the meeting point along with other people, without informing me that this too had been cancelled. We waited 2 hours for someone to turn up then was informed that it had been cancelled by another person who had managed to get through to someone. Unknown to us the vatican was closed on Easter Monday, but viator allowed us to book it, this was the last day of my holiday so I was unable to reschedule it. What I didn't know was viator used another company called tours about who have bad online reviews, if I gad known this I wouldn't have booked. When we next visit Italy I'll be sure not to use Viator for my excursions

The tour stopped before entering the Sistine Chapel and due to the kilometer long line we couldn’t get into St Peter’s Basilica. The tour guide was absolutely boring. The whole experience was pretty unorganized. The only good thing: you don’t get lost in the Museums.

Our guide was excellent! He was very informative, friendly and efficient. His knowledge of the art and history was fantastic. I would highly recommend!

Our tour guide Pasquale was the very best so far on our trip. He explained everything very well, was thorough and had personality, he was very funny at times. Maintained a good pace to the tour. One criticism of the company providing the tour was the detail of the pick up point ... it was very obscure. We were the only people at the advised meeting point. I phoned the company once the stated start time had past ... to be told we would be picked up very soon. Once they came we were taken to a temporary tour office ...Our name was not listed while our viator travel voucher confirmed our booking. It turned out to be a great tour but the organisational side of the business needs work.

The start of the tour did not convince me.. it was a bit confusing where the meeting place is. I was standing in the right place, but there was no one else there. Point meeting point time someone came to pick me up and we went to another meeting point. This could definitely be optimized! The tour itself was very interesting and Franca was very competent. In addition, we also went to St. Peter's Basilica, although this would not be included in this tour. Time was also a little overdone. Therefore, I can still give this lead 4 out of 5 points.

Beautiful place. The guide left us many times. Way too crowded. I am from nyc and this is worse than the trains & time square. We went early and it was still bad.
