Long day! The roads to the ruins and back were treacherous at times, but the driver did well. He passed me off to tour guide Gladys, who was fun and knowledgable. We passed through Guatemala for 2 hours to get there.

Tour of the magnificent city of Antigua departing from San Salvador
4 a.m. departure from San Salvador to Antigua with Osmaro for a long day, but it was worth it. Osmaro is a very friendly, professional, and careful guide behind the wheel. He knows his country perfectly and the conversations with him were enriching. In Antigua, we discovered the city with a local guide. An intense day that we recommend without hesitation.

Loved it!
Very good tour! They arrived for us on time and Herbert the guide helped us at all times and was watching over us, he helped us in the border process very kindly. The place was beautiful I give 100% highly recommended. I'd do it again.

Beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site - Mayan Ruins
This tour was very interesting for a variety of reasons. The pick up was early in the day to ensure an early arrival at the Copan Ruins to avoid excessive heat and crowds. Going early was so worth it and the site itself is spectacular! The local guide was very knowledgeable and Herbert provided excellent service with driving, through border control in each country and providing additional facts on the round trip journey. I thought it was super cool to have been in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras all in a single day and loved getting extra passport stamps at each stop along the way and back!

Copan visit
The Copan ruins are quite unique among the Mayan treasures. They are smaller than Tikal, but definitely worth the visit. The guide at the ruins was excellent. A real bonus is the recreation of one of the temples, housed in the museum, with very good explanations of the site, and great examples of stonework and sculptures.
It is a rather long day driving from San Salvador, but our guide and driver, Osmar, makes it interesting and fun. He is a fount of knowledge in all things Salvadoran. We were somewhat concerned about the multiple border crossings, but this went off without difficulty or any delays worth mentioning.

Worth the trip
Was an amazing trip, van was air conditioned and comfortable and the driver and guide were amazing. Don't be intimidated by the long drive, it is worth it

Amazing History and Culture Tour
My wife and I booked a day tour from San Salvador to Copan and could not have had a better experience. Between our great and knowledgeable driver and the wonderous historical site it made for a perfect day.

San Salvador and Panchimalco Tour
I would like to recommend a tour with Eco Tours Petate. I just had a tour with Rafael this past Friday. We went to see the historical centre of San Salvador and also visit to Panchimalco village and Devil's Door (La Puerta del Diablo). It was very nice to learn many interesting things about the history of El Salvador and the places we visited. Rafael also sent us nice photos, he was taking throughout the day.
