Dario was our guide. He was very informative and friendly! We enjoyed our experience very much! He was very personable and spoke very good english, which was helpful for us! We learned a lot about the country and got to make a variety of dishes! Would recommend!
The cooking class and market tour was great! I learned how to prepare and got to taste several typical Guatemalan dishes, as well as learned about traditional foods in the market. The food was delicious and I left very full!
I had such a great time at this cooking class in Guatemala! 🇬🇹✨ The food was delicious, everyone was so nice, welcoming, and funny, and the views were absolutely amazing. The whole experience was fun, relaxed, and honestly such a good time. And of course, being able to sip on some wine while cooking made it even better! 🍷👩🏽🍳 Definitely an experience I’m glad I got to enjoy and would recommend to anyone visiting Guatemala! ❤️
It was a fun experience exploring the market buying vegetables and fruit and using the ingredients to make lunch. Dario our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He made every effort to give is a completely vegetarian 3 course meal. Would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in regional cuisines.
Dario was amazing! We had one of the best experiences with him during this cooking class. He was so nice and very friendly! We really enjoyed his company and we would do this tour again.
Very good experience with our young son. We cooked and ate very well, and the team was very attentive. They also helped us look after our little one while we prepared the dishes. Recommended!!
Highly recommend this market tour and cooking class! Our chef led us through an informative and interesting tour of the central market, purchasing some items for us to prepare later. We then accompanied him on a short ride on a chicken bus to where the class was located on a rooftop terrace. The view was amazing as we prepared several recipes, including cooking over a wood fired stove, and using a bicycle powered blender. The food was delicious and the experience was memorable.
I had a lovely time with the cooking class and market tour. The guide (Dario) was very knowledgeable about the food and Guatemalan culture, and showed off all the different parts of the market. The food was delicious! I wish it was easier to access some of the ingredients where I’m from and I’d be making it all the time. Recipes were provided afterwards
