Fantastic day, organised well, let's of helpful info before hand. Prompt pick up. Our guide Casper was amazing, we laughed all day , he was so knowledgeable and made the day for us!. This is not a guided tour. A taxi van showed up with a driver who said he is not a guide, and 6 other passengers already in the van. There was minimal explanation from the driver, when we asked him to give a description of the trip and stops he said: didn’t you read the description on line?!. Then during the 2.5 hours ride each way, we had to listen to loud conversations among the other passengers none stop. We asked the driver to put some music on to fade some of the noise from loud talkings which he refused. We asked if the seats could be alternated so the two of us can sit beside each other at least for a portion of the trip, as we were sitting separately in 2 different rows, which again he did not take any action to facilitate this. Basically he did not take any initiative to ensure the comfort of all passengers. Overall the worst tour we booked ever. Long drive in an uncomfortable van. I think big bus tours or private tours, both are better options than these small group vans. For this specific tour, we realized that it was much cheaper and more comfortable if we had gone by train and bus on our own. Do not recommend this tour.

It's a long day, but well worth it. And really good value for money. Our driver Gabriel was great and recommended a lovely restaurant in Zakapone. Unfortunately we didn't get the views as the weather was bad, but still good to up in the cable car. The thermal spa is the perfect finish to the day, make sure you explore it, as there's loads of different areas.

Really amazing trip, our driver Kacperro, was incredible!! He was very knowledgeable about the whole trip, and was very happy to answer any questions we had about any local legends or traditions! He is truly an asset to the trip! Pick up and drop off was simple, the trip itself was well organised and everything was done and sorted in advance! Nothing was a problem and he even gave us a recommendation for a restaurant to try after the trip ended! (To which we tried and ended up being our favourite restaurant we tried!) Thankyou very much Kacperro!!

Matthew was our guide and he was so kind and friendly. He emailed me the day before to confirm time of pick up and location of pickup. The drive from Krakow to Zakopane was really lovely and green and the architecture of the homes was so very much like a ski town. We took the funicular up to the top and the view was amazing, especially with fresh snow on the mountains. The only thing I didn’t care for were all the booths at the bottom of the mtn selling all the same stuff, mainly from China. I think if you’re not into that, the time at the mountain was too long. After that we headed to the thermal baths where is was very relaxing and a nice way to end the day. Our van only had 8 people and it was perfect number. We started out as strangers and ended up friends. One couple was on their honeymoon and another lady was celebrating her 50th birthday. She was from Dublin and had us all celebrating with her. The stop for vodka and cheese was a nice way to break up the drive. Thanks again to Matthew for making this a memorable experience.

Long, but very nice, day trip from Krakov. The town of historic "lincoln-log" homes was cool, as well as the smoked cheese and cherry liquor shot. The town of Zakopone was nice (but similar to many other small old towns). Funicular ride was fun, and view of the town and mountains was beautiful! Thermal baths were nice but underwhelming; very similar to other places around Europe. We expected more "natural" baths (like we've sometimes been to on mountainsides), but these were just a mix of different swimming pool type baths. All in all a nice day, and guides were friendly and helpful. One thing that annoyed us was they order they picked us up/dropped us off... We were the first ones picked up, and almost the last to be dropped off. Whereas the last person picked up was also the first one dropped off! Bottom line, we spent 45 + minutes longer sitting in van than others! It might take an extra 5-10 minutes, but should drop everyone off in the same order that they picked them up!
