We booked under the impression it was mad Alice ghost tour with the girl we follow on utube but it was a different girl under the name of Lady peckitt we where very disappointed and would not have booked if we had know
This is the second time we've seen Mad Alice. She is so knowledgeable about York. She makes everyone feel welcome. There is history, drama, and comedy. A very clever woman 🤩
Amazing personal/interactive experience. The tour guide is insanely charismatic and speaks about the city’s history with great passion and humor. My boyfriend and I are very happy to have found this listing.
Amazing tour! Highlight of our time in York actually! Laughed a lot, learned a lot and the time just flew by. Would highly recommend doing the tour on the first day (evening) because we discovered many places that we had not been to on our own. We did it on our last night as just a little extra and it was so worth it! You learn a lot about history and town as well as hear some good spooky stories! 10/10 ⭐️

We had an absolutely fantastic time on Mad Alice's Bloody Tour of York. We were amazed not only by her incredible knowledge and the wealth of fascinating facts she shared, but also by her ability to remember the names of so many people in the group throughout the tour. Alice's delivery was outstanding—engaging, entertaining, and full of energy from start to finish. She brought York's history to life in a way that kept everyone interested and involved. It was easy to see why her tour was so popular; compared to the other tours we passed along the way, Alice's group was by far the largest. If you're visiting York and want a tour that is informative, memorable, and great fun, I would highly recommend Mad Alice's Bloody Tour.
Mad Alice was the highlight of our trip to York! She was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her storytelling brought the city’s history to life, and her crowd interaction was exceptional—she even remembered our names, which made the experience feel personal. The perfect mix of laughs, history, and spooky fun. A must-do in York, especially for families!
Absolutely marvellous! The way Mad Alice engages with the crowd when it’s so easy just to talk to them was wonderful. Fun, factual and very, very entertaining. Every minute was thoroughly enjoyable. .
The Mad Alice tour was excellent from the start. We met up at 8pm and the group size was around 20 people (I didn't fully count). To my amazement Mad Alice (MA) seemed to know everyone by name rather than needing a register of sorts!! She was very enthusiastic, funny and full of smiles and during the walk around she took time out to speak with individuals which I though was a really nice touch. I am still amazed by her memory of people's names....physic?? Maybe... I would highly recommend this tour to anyone should be looking for a tour around York...I actually learn a lot from her. Great tour interesting facts delivered with knowledge and humour. Mad Alice knew names of everyone in the group and took time to talk to everyone.
