Our tour guide met us at our hotel. She was very friendly and spoke good English. We really enjoyed her until after the trip and started to wonder why she picked certain shops. Did she get a commission from those shops? The rug shop owner was rude and pushy when he realized we were not going to purchase anything that day. The spice store was disappointing. We purchased several things and then realized we had not calculated the exchange rate correctly. We attempted to return our items that were vacuumed seal but they would only take a couple things back. They gave us a receipt for the refund but we have never gotten it back.

Metal was an excellent tour guide.
She was very thoughtful in planning out our itinerary. Merrill is very knowledgeable and shares the knowledge in an easy to understand way. She paid attention to our pace and things that we were interested in as well. She took very good care of us.

An excellent visit to the bazaar and its surroundings.
Zafer was a fantastic guide who was able to adapt to our expectations and answer all our questions. He accompanied us throughout the day to make it a moment rich in exchanges for a better understanding of Istanbul today and yesterday.

Emre was fantastic. He spent 4 hours showing us round the bazaars and hans giving plenty of interesting facts and advice along the way. He took into account what our interests were to guide our shopping and showing us places we would never have found ourselves - including the best baklava!

Wonderful Experience!!
Our tour of the old city was outstanding. The tour guide, Berkay, was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable about the regional history and passionate aboutTurkish culture. We learned so much. He was professional, kind, and courteous. We recommend him emphatically!!!
