we loved this trip! The driver was amazing! And we loved seeing the castle in the gardens and especially enjoyed stopping on the side of the road to feed the sheep!
Great full day tour with a knowledgeable guide! Vincent was incredibly thorough and gave details about our journey along the way that we never would have known to ask about.
Five stars: Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and the Wild Atlantic Way made for a wonderful day from Galway We had a terrific experience on the Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Wild Atlantic Way tour from Galway on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Our tour guide and mini-coach driver, Mike, did a great job from start to finish. Mike had the right balance of narration, local stories, humor, photo stops and coffee stops before and after the featured attractions. He also navigated the narrow roads like a pro, which made the long day feel easy and enjoyable. The mini-motor coach was first class and very comfortable. We opted for Kylemore Abbey rather than Connemara National Park, and three hours was the perfect amount of time. We were able to visit the gardens, then the abbey, and then the chapel without feeling rushed. Kylemore Abbey was a surprise and delight. While this is a long day, the scenery, sightseeing, stops and Mike’s narration made it very enjoyable. The weather was also great for our tour, which made the Wild Atlantic Way and Connemara landscapes even more memorable. One note, similar to what a previous reviewer mentioned: the tour name might be clearer as “Connemara or Kylemore Abbey and Wild Atlantic Way tour from Galway” so travelers understand that the main stop is a choice between Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey, not both. Overall, five stars. A beautiful, well-run day trip from Galway.
It was a very informative tour. Mike was a lovely tour guide and did amazing job keeping the tour entertaining while also proving history and information about the areas we were driving in.
It was on a bus. And the weather that day was cold, rainy and very windy. That is not within the control of the tour operator, but we made the best of it. Still it was informative and beautiful.
The small group tour was perfect for our first time visit to the area. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable of the area we didn’t miss a thing. The day wasn’t rushed and time was well spent.
driving along the Atlantic Way was the best. Opportunity for shaoe photo and bathroom breaks. the bus driver was a great narrator.
Wonderful tour of the beautiful Connemara countryside and the Kylemore Abbey. Mike, our driver, was friendly and very knowledgeable and shared the history of the areas we drove through. We even got a fun keepsake! Kylemore Abbey is breathtaking and the walled gardens are worth the visit. Lots of photo op moments along the tour, too. Highly recommend this experience.
Terrific tour and great driver/guide Tony. We were also lucky the weather was perfect. We enjoyed this tour more than the Cliffs of Moher tour. Kylemore Abbey should not be missed.
