We met Kono-san at our hotel. It was a walking city tour. He was adept at navigating his way around all the sites we chose to see. He took our photos which was nice! The next day he emailed them to me. He was a very sweet tour guide. We enjoyed him very much. The only reason we didn’t rate this tour a 5 was his English was pretty difficult to understand. Also he didn’t know answers to some questions. Otherwise he was excellent at getting us around to see many points of interest.

Kono is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, personable and patient. The sites covered by this tour are very interesting. There is a lot of walking done, but is well worth it. Request Kono as your guide. You will not be disappointed.
We covered a lot of ground, a good thing. Saw several sites with a delicious lunch. It was our first day, the guide educated us in how to use trains, markets to visit and other helpful information.
Fantastic day out. Exhausting and difficult at times because of mobility issues. The public transport system is not as catering for the disabled as previously expected. There are a lot of steps to encounter. But Akiri, our guide, was very adaptable and much appreciated. Thank you Akiri.
We had Kono-san. We spent 10 hours going around Tokyo and saw more with Kono-san than we could have on our own. Thank you Kono-san for an excellent day. Would recommend if short on time in Tokyo.
This was a fantastic experience! I loved that it was catered to my tastes for the trip. It was wonderful having an expert navigator in Tokyo. I really loved visiting the local sushi shop. It was a really special day out
Fantastic experience being guided by Kono through Tokyo. Everything went seamless, with Kono knowing every corner of this big city, whilst 1) telling us all the rich history and context for the sites we were visiting, 2) teaching us Japanese culture and customs, and 3) being great company. Can highly recommend booking a tour if you are visiting for the first time (as the city is so big and can be overwhelming to map out yourself) and particularly with Kono as your guide. Practical: we were a group of 4 booked with Kono to visit Meiji Jingu, Senso-Ji temple, Tsujiki market, Imperial palace and Tokyo Skytree.
This was a great tour. We saw a lot and enjoyed all the places we went to. Our tour guide Funiko was excellent. We were a family/friend group of 8 and she always checked that we were still together. She was patient with all our stops. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of what we saw.
