Our driver, Cory, was very entertaining! He shared information about Maui as well as Haleakala. We loved watching the sunrise while listening to the sunrise chant. It was a memorable experience.

Very knowledgeable and organized tour guides. Great weather and wonderful experience. This was my first time parasailing and it won’t be my last!

The experience is great but pick a different company for it. This company is mainly focused on the bike ride down from the summit and not the sunrise itself. That means they pick you up incredibly early so you can stop at their office where they fit each and every biker with a helmet and then “train” them how to ride the bikes. All the way up to the summit the driver is yakking about the bike route back down and how not to get lost. When we reached the summit he explained that sunrise was at 6:11 and we needed to leave promptly at 6:13 so they could get the bikes distributed to all the riders. So we got a full two minutes.

Great time from beginning to end. Got picked up around 1:45, got to the top around 445. Crazy cold and windy at the top. Nice breakfast afterwards. We had a fantastic time and our driver was great. If you get motion sickness, the drive is very windy on cliffs so make sure you are going To be ok with that.

DO NOT BOOK. Had a pick up at the Ashton at the Whaler for 3am. Was at the pick up point with a worker from the Ashton at 2:45 (to make sure I was in the right spot). At 3:08 I called the company to see where the van was because it’s now past 3am. They put me on hold to check with the driver, clicked back over to my call, repeated my name back to me (meaning I had a reservation), and said “oh sorry the driver must have missed your stop but if you call back at 8am we can reschedule you”. I told him today was my last day and I’m not able to reschedule and asked if the driver can just come back and get me as it’s only 8 minutes past when he was originally supposed to get me. I was told “no sorry you have to call back at 8am and reschedule or get a refund.” I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service and just service in general. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. I rented warm equipment for the summit and wasted money, wasted time, etc.

John was an amazing tour guide for our sunrise experience!! Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend wearing warm clothes, it was very windy up there and a windchill of 34 degrees. Although it was very cold, it was breathtakingly beautiful!

This was an amazing trip to the top of the mountain! It's a tour bus, so if you get motion sickness, make sure to take something. Our driver, Corey, was enthusiastic and kept us entertained for the whole trip. The road is nice and wide, 2 lanes, and winds back and forth all the way up. Wear layers. It will be humid at sea level, but as you climb higher, it will get drier and much cooler. If you cannot stand cold and windy, make sure to pack hats and gloves as you will be standing around the rim waiting for the rise. After traveling back down to the town of Paia, we got a delicious breakfast! This is something you shouldn't miss. There's also a small giftshop at the top . Make sure to stop and support the park!

It was more than worth getting up early—Corry, the entertaining tour guide, shared lots of interesting information; we stopped along the way to take in the view of the Milky Way; the sunrise was spectacular; and breakfast—especially the egg wrap—is highly recommended.

The experience was excellent. The guide, Corey, was phenomenal. I’d highly recommend. The bus picked us up right at the hotel making it convenient. The guide Corey was so personable, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor even early in the morning. He made the experience one where I could learn from and have a great time along the way. He shared facts about the area and journey. The sunrise was so perfect and could not be better. The breakfast included was at a cool restaurant in Paia making it feel more special.

John was a great guide, knowledgeable of Hawaiian culture and history and a great driver (trust me you’ll want that lol)!
