It does not mean that entry can take place at any time or without following the official access procedures required by the Vatican Museums. The description of our staff “asking people in line” is not an accurate representation of the service provided. Our team follows the official entrance process for the ticket type purchased and assists customers through the correct access procedure. We ask that the professionalism of our staff and our service be respected. Regarding the waiting time at the meeting point, this is linked to the strict entry-slot policy applied by the Vatican Museums. Visitors cannot enter freely before or after their assigned time; the group must wait until the correct slot begins, so that all required entrance and security procedures can take place properly. The process was explained clearly, although we understand it may not have been fully understood at the time. We hope this clarifies the situation and helps explain that this is not the same as purchasing standard tickets independently.
