Buddhi is the only man worth dealing with for this trip. I had four ‘operators’ telling me they could do this and only Buddhi delivered as promised. I think all others are just agents trying their luck. Buddhi is also a charming man and does not seem to understand the word bulls**t coz he doesn't know any. Very well organised and very cheap for what it is. Views were breathtaking. I’ve been to Everest yay.
Thank you for taking our(Himalaya Holiday Service Pvt. Ltd.) Helicopter flight to Mount Everest base camp and writing the Great review following the lifetime trip to the highest mountain. It was a great pleasure working with you. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Regards, Buddhi Bhatta Owner Whats-app + 977 9851214548 (24/7 in Nepal )
The Everest flight was truly an amazing experience - Buddhi was my travel arranger and even helped me to rent a down jacket for the trip. We had an amazingly clear day and the views were just breathtaking. I highly recommend this trip, if coming to Kathmandu- it is a must do. Yes, it is expensive, but it is an experience of a lifetime.
Despite taking off in the middle of the Monsoon season, our helicopter ride delivered all we were expecting and more.. Our day started early at 2pm with an airport pickup. We were supposed to arrive the day before but lengthy flight delays meant that we were later. Buddhi and the driver picked us up immediately and drove us to the hotel where we caught a couple of hours of rest. They waited for us, rather than go home and at 6am we headed to the airport. Despite the rainy season, the sky was blue and the helicopter ride to Lukla fantastic. We then took off again to the base camp where we were able to see the mountain even for few minutes! As the clouds were closing in rapidly, we skipped the Everest View Hotel and spent more time in Lukla, walking around and being amazed at the landing of an airplane one of the shortest runways we have seen. The ride back was also beautiful. Being only three of us, we switched seats and had prime view of the mountains, forests and rivers! This was our second time we tried to make this trip (the first was cancelled due to regional events). Himalaya Holidays Service proved to be an excellent choice for this unique experience, and the constant communication with Buddhi a reassuring thing before and throughout the day.

We had such an amazing experience! Buddhi was incredibly responsive and thorough in helping us book and plan for our Everest helicopter tour & landing at Kala Patthar. He was so thorough and helpful in making sure we understood everything and had what we need. The helicopter tour was outstanding--a real highlight of our time in Nepal. The views of the Himalayas (including Everest!) were breathtaking. Getting to walk around at Kala Patthar is something I'll never forget. Buddhi was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Nepal--we had such amazing conversations about religion, local customs, the history of Nepal, etc. Our experience was excellent! Definitely recommended!

Although we have been in Nepal during Monsoon season, which normally means many clouds and rainfalls, we managed to do the trip - after 12 days awaiting better weather conditions! Buddhi, our organizer, checked carefully every few minutes, if a flight was possible and confirmed us to fly only by nice weather. And it was really worth of it: We had an amazing experience! First we flew with the helicopter to Lukla, then from there to the Sherpa village Dingboche. There we were separated from the other three co-travelers who flew with us, and we (a couple) got the chance to fly alone to Khala Patthar, where we could finally see Mount Everest, Nuptse, Changtse. Afterwards we flew back to Dingboche and our co-travellers was brought to Khala Patthar/Everest. Then we flew back to Lukla for filling up the helicopter with kerosine, and then we had a nice Tibetan breakfast at a typical Sherpa accomodation. We felt very safe during the flight. You could sense that the pilot, his name was Yachnit from Air Dynasty Heli Services has excellent flight skills and is very careful about everything! Besides, he was very kind to take some pictures of us at Khala Patthar. Furthermore, he told us many interesting things about the mountain tourism during the flight. Thank you deeply for an outstanding experience! We would definitely recommend this trip - ask for Buddhi and Yachnit!
This was by far the highlight of our trip in Nepal. The tour was very professional and well-organized. Safety was a major consideration. Our pilot was exceptional. Although our experience was altered a bit due to high winds we nevertheless saw everything we had hoped to see. I wish I had used this company/guide for many of the other tours we took. I was a little concerned about getting in and out of the helicopter but this turned out to be no problem at all. Our communication with Rahan was smooth at all times. We had an excellent breakfast in the Sherpa town of Lukla, along with a little tour of this mountain village. Highly recommend this tour, this guide, this company.
In early May, my wife and I joined the tour. The good thing about this tour is that the number of people gathered is reasonable and, most importantly, you can land at Karapatar and see Mount Everest. Pick me up at 5:40am at my hotel and transfer to Kathmandu airport. We got into the helicopter with an American couple and a Canadian man. It was cloudy in Kathmandu, but it was clear on the way. Via Lukla to Pelliche. The Americans split into two groups to limit the weight here and went to Karapatar first. From Peliche, we could see the Amadabram and the yak. From Peliche, we flew over Everest Base Camp and finally landed in Karapatar. Here, we were given about 5-10 minutes (more than that, we were told, would cause altitude sickness) to see Mount Everest rise behind Nuptse. After that, we landed at Hotel Everest View, had breakfast, and returned to the airport in Kathmandu shortly after 11:00. The helicopter was designed to seat two people in front and four in the back, but when I got off the plane I could take turns and sit next to the pilot. The pilot also guided us and explained the mountains. I was dropped off from the airport to Tameru instead of the hotel. It was a great tour, but the caveats are that the price varies depending on the number of people and that there is money to pay extra (of course the HP explains that). When I contacted the tour company, they seemed to be the only ones, but they had some people around the day who wanted to join, so they adjusted it so that five people could join. It's better to let them know when you have a few days available. The additional fees were admission to Sagarmatha National Park (3,000 rupees or 30 US dollars), breakfast (65 US dollars for two people), and a 4% handling fee if paid by credit card (Nepal often charges 4%).
We booked this tour from UK through Raman work for Himalaya holiday Service Ltd.. Roman was very helpful gave full details of the tour. We were group of 5 from different country in the same helicopter on 20 April 2019. Tour was very good from start to finish. Our flight Captain M. Meupler gave detail information while we were flying over the mountain. I recommend this tour to every one visiting Nepal. This is once in life time experience
Seems like a lot of money for a helicopter ride but absolutely worth it. I booked with this specific company after seeing other reviews and wondered if they were genuine. This is definitely one of those moments in life which are truly unforgettable. Perfect if you are on a short timescale (like myself) or cant trek 10-14 days. Helicopter also used to evacuate emergencies so we gained some extra bonus time in the mountains when we stopped for breakfast/lunch (bring sandwiches and enjoy the views instead) and the chopper was rerouted without us and then again for the second emergency when we reached a lower altitude watching the take off and landings at Lukla. Utterly awesome. Day was a little longer than planned and finished about 3.30pm. I would say you can book knowing this is a trustworthy operation.
This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience that worth every penny. Our guide Buddhi was always in contact via WhatsApp and provided an excellent service. I came on a short business trip and see Everest was on my bucket list, so this was the only way to do it. I highly recommend this experience if you want to see Everest as close as you can without the long trekking.
