The Kerid crater is distinguished by its vivid, aquamarine-colored lake nestled within the volcanic caldera. The contrasting colors of the red volcanic rock and the azure waters create a mesmerizing sight that's a photographer's dream. The relatively young age of the crater, estimated to be around 3,000 years old, adds to the intrigue of this natural wonder. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the rim of the crater, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and the striking contrast between the volcanic slopes and the serene lake below. The well-preserved cone shape and the accessible trails make Kerid an ideal destination for those seeking both geological wonders and scenic beauty.
Discover the serene beauty of Faxi waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in the stunning Icelandic landscape. Located along the Tungufljót River, Faxi is a captivating waterfall that offers a more intimate and peaceful experience compared to some of Iceland's larger falls. Faxi's gentle cascades and scenic surroundings make it a perfect stop for those seeking a tranquil escape into nature. Take a leisurely stroll along well-maintained paths to reach prime viewing spots, where you can marvel at the graceful flow of Faxi and capture the essence of Icelandic tranquility. The smaller scale of the waterfall allows for an up-close and personal encounter with the pristine waters and the surrounding lush greenery.
At the Geysir geothermal area, witness the iconic Strokkur geyser shooting hot water high into the air at regular intervals, creating a spectacular show of nature's power. The area is named after the Great Geysir, one of the oldest known geysers globally, showcasing the dynamic forces at play beneath the Earth's surface. Explore the bubbling hot springs, colorful mineral deposits, and the otherworldly landscapes that make up this unique geothermal zone. The Geysir area is surrounded by a dramatic panorama of Icelandic vistas, including rolling hills, mountains, and steaming vents, providing a truly immersive experience for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Gullfoss, Iceland's majestic waterfall, a jewel along the renowned Golden Circle route. Gullfoss, meaning "Golden Falls," is a captivating natural wonder that draws visitors with its awe-inspiring cascades and dramatic scenery. Located on the Hvítá River, Gullfoss is a two-tiered waterfall that plunges into a rugged canyon with sheer force and elegance. The misty veil that rises from the falls creates rainbows on sunny days, adding to the enchantment of the surroundings. Explore the viewing platforms strategically positioned to provide the best vantage points for capturing the sheer power and grandeur of Gullfoss. The waterfall is not only a visual spectacle but also a testament to Iceland's untamed natural forces, as the glacial river rushes through the highlands before plummeting into the depths below.
Discover the awe-inspiring wonders of Hrafnagjá and Þingvellir National Park in Iceland, where nature and history converge in a spectacular display. Hrafnagjá, a dramatic ravine nestled within the park, offers a mesmerizing geological glimpse into the continental drift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. As part of Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this area holds cultural and historical significance. Þingvellir is not only the birthplace of the world's first parliament, the Alþingi, convened in 930 AD but also a testament to the enduring spirit of Icelandic democracy. Wander through the Almannagjá gorge and stand on the Law Rock, where historic decisions were once made. Nature enthusiasts will be captivated by the park's diverse landscapes, from the crystal-clear waters of Þingvallavatn, Iceland's largest natural lake, to the rugged beauty of the surrounding lava fields.

Bjarni our driver and tour guide for 5 adults, was excellent. Not only did he tell us about sites, told stories about area. He is a native if the island. One of the best tours we have taken. Felt very safe while he was driving in the rain.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
Absolutely wonderful! Definitely walk around Kerid crater for all the views and take all the paths at Gullfoss waterfall. Every stop has spectacular scenery and you will continually take more photos as the views are all amazing. Our guide had so many stories about Iceland and growing up there and legends and myths, it was fantastic Loved the stories. Highly recommend
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
What a wonderful introduction to this incredible country! We effectively had only a long weekend, meeting our adult daughter at approximately the halfway point between where we’re both based. Our tour was comfortable, informative, personalized and personable. Thank-you! We were already discussing how much we’d like to return before we’d even left.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
I’ve done tours and experiences in the past in Iceland and have found that you essentially follow the same formality. With a personal tour you can choose how long or shorty you stay somewhere and have the flexibility to add extra stops and see more things than on a larger tour. The guide was so experienced and told stories along the way…worth the money!
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
Great day seeing the sights. Very informative. Professional and friendly. Spent from 9am to 4pm seeing the sights.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
Excellent experience, the trip was very pleasant, quiet, well explained, at our pace, shopping or having something without anyone rushing you. The car super clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet experience, with excellent service, without having to worry, here it is. 10/10 VIP service
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
We absolutely LOVED this tour! The sites on the Golden Circle were breathtaking. Our tour guide Bijarny purposely went counterclockwise to avoid the crowds. We were SO thankful for this when we had places like Kerid Crater and Thinvillir Park to ourselves. He also took us to the "outdoor bakery" where they bake bread in the volcanic soil, explaining the entire process. While the sites are beautiful, it is Bijarni that made this tour amazing. Within minutes of meeting him, he makes it feel like you've known him for years. He is native to Iceland and one of the best story tellers I have ever met. I would take a tour with Bijarni that went no where, just to drive around with him and listen to his stories. We always book tours when we travel and Bijarni is the best tour guide we've ever had. When we go back to Iceland we will be sure to book all of our tours with Bijarni.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
We found our private tour with Bjarni to be very enjoyable and relaxing. He is flexible and has an easygoing demeanour and we never felt rushed or pressured to meet a schedule. You can stay a little longer somewhere or leave earlier. He has been a professional guide for a long time and is very knowledgeable and you can ask as many questions as you like. He also had arranged the order of the tour with certain stops at the right time to minimize competing bus traffic and to provide a lunch or washroom break. We would recommend for a professional private tour.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
We took private tour with Byorkin (apologies if I got the spelling wrong). We found our guide to be professional, but very flexible and easy going. We never felt pressured or rushed. We could stay longer at an attraction or leave sooner. He was knowledgeable and patient and you can ask as many questions as you like. He also based the route on your timing trying to go opposite to most large bus tours. Everything is taken care of in terms of making stops for snacks or a washroom at the right time. Seeing the sites is important, but the way you do it also contributes to the experience. We found that the no stress approach of taking an experienced guide (on a rainy day) was the correct way to go. We would recommend.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
Bjarni our guide picked us up promptly at 0800 just outside our apt. Very nice Islandic gentleman with excellent English and we went on our tour of the southeastern part of Iceland. The tour took us up the southeast shore from Reykjavik to geiser spouts and later a beautiful waterfall and gorge. Then onto the national park area astride the divide between Europe and North American where we stopped for a potty brake and a sandwich/coffee. At that point, we started back toward Reykajvik. Bjarni explained a lot about Iceland and had stories galore. What a great adventure and outting. Strongly recommend.
Thank you. Regards Bjarni
