We did the Annapurna Base Camp trek including a short detour to Poon Hill in late March 2026 — two of us, seven days, zero complaints. We’d spent the two weeks before at the homestay run by Rabi’s (head of iTour) wife Kopila in Kathmandu, which was a lovely introduction to Nepal and set the bar high. The trek cleared it easily. Prabin (Rabi’s nephew) was a fantastic guide. Calm, experienced, and great company throughout. The pre-trek advice we got was practical and spot-on: pack Loperamid and a cough suppressant, prioritise sleep over everything, and trust your guide when it counts. The teahouses are basic but that’s honestly part of the charm — dal bhat every evening, Gurung bread every morning, and the occasional gap in the roof panels that lets you fall asleep looking at stars. Invest in a good sleeping bag before you go; the rooms can be cold and damp, and it makes all the difference. We arrived at base camp at 4,130m completely socked in by cloud, woke the next morning to a perfectly clear sky, and descended in roughly a third of the ascent time. Hard to plan it better than that. Really wonderful trip. Would recommend without hesitation — just maybe pack a slightly lighter bag than we did.* *Thankfully, Prabin made it possible that we could leave some of our overpacked stuff at a tea house at lower elevation, so we didn’t have to carry everything up the hill. Hiking pants, a thermal shirt for the day, a set of thermals for the night, one fleece jacket, a puffer jacket, a rain jacket/coat, a few pairs of socks, a sleeping bag, and a few snack bars - that’s all you need really! :)
Amazing experience by beautiful people, these guys really take care of you and your safety and make sure everything goes according to plan. Very highly recommended. Thank you and will be back! 🙏
My third trek with iTour and I will continue to work with this amazing family - run business who do everything in their ability to make the best times for guests. From the first time we meet until we say goodbye at the airport every detail is handled with utmost care and consideration. I will never work with another trekking company since all three of my experiences have been so amazing. For me, this time was especially special because I brought three friends who had never been to Nepal and iTour and his family made us all feel so welcomed. By the end of the trip, we all felt as if were a family together which is exactly what you want when traveling to new unfamiliar places. Thank you, thank you thank you! 10 stars, two big thumbs up and look forward to the next one!!

Fantastic tour! The location was exceptional and our tour guide was very informative and friendly. Highly recommend!
I have been with them three times. 1st time I did kathmandu and kathmandu valley trek in 2017. 2nd time I did Bhutan 2019, and recently for the 3rd time I did Ananpurna 2024. Each time everything was organised and arranged making each trip flow easily and smoothly. I always felt safe and well taken care of. The experience was always authentic and I didn't feel like a typical tourist following a crowd. I would recomennd. Being patient and flexible is a must when going on any trip especially to rural areas as some things such as flight delays are out of their control.

We are a couple from Canada, and we had an amazing experience with i Tour Nepal in May. We had only 15 days to explore Himalayas and Upper Mustang. And these guys tailored everything to our needs. The 1st trip was to ABC with our guide, Prabin. Amazing service, best accommodations and food. He took care of us all the way to the top and back. And the 2d trip was to Tiji festival in Upper Mustang with our guide Indra. The best places to visit, the best views and care about everything. We highly recommend this company and these guides and we are defenetly planning more trips with them next year.

10/10 and amazing experience working with iTour and I am already planning to come back next year with a big group of friends/family and will use them again for all my future visits to Nepal. Why? 1) The owner Rabi has been amazing to work with over WhatsApp always very responsive, helpful, ful and understanding. I had been wanting to go on this trek since last year, but due to a death in the family, I had to postpone it by a year. This year I had to delay my trek by a few days due to a minor surgery that I had in Kathmandu. Again, Rabi was patient, helpful, and always responsive to my many questions. 2) My guide, Prabin, and porter, Pradip; were nothing short of amazing, helping me feel comfortable through every day on the trek. Going out of there way to be helpful and give the best service possible. Cannot thank them enough for the time. They truly made my experience amazing. 3) iTour has a very ethical way of treating it's employees and their culture is top notch. Other tour company's might be larger but this was a more intimate and could tell from all of my interactions that this is a special genuine company. Thank you and I look forward to more tours in the future with them.

Rabi created a custom trek for my daughter and I which included Poon Hill, many charming villages in the Annapurna foothills, Bandipur and Chitwan National Park. Our guide-Saroj was exceptional! He had patience, kindness and intelligence. I told Rabi that I might be slow because I had knee issues and Saroj stayed with me for every step which was many. He told me when to be careful and we talked for hour and hours about the history of Hinduism and yoga. I learned so much! The accommodations were lovely with great views which unfortunately we could not see. There was a huge amount of air pollution the week we trekked and that part was sad for all of us. The food at the tea houses was delicious and the trekking from village to village was really fun. The only day that I did not eat at a Rabi selected teahouse, I got sick with food poisoning. I called Rabi early in the morning and he arranged for our driver to bring me to a local hospital. The driver-Krishna- was so kind. He stayed in the room with me while I received intravenous. After he drove us on a very challenging ride, on roads that were being constructed, to the National Park. He was an excellent driver and the car was very comfortable. Overall, we highly recommend iTour Nepal with Rabi at the helm.

We appreciate your understanding of the challenges posed by the weather and pollution, which can sometimes affect the overall experience. Despite these circumstances, we are committed to providing the highest level of comfort and service with the proper choice of location, lodge, and flexible activities, ensuring that your family has a memorable stay. Thanks for such a wonderful review and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future under more favorable weather conditions, so you can fully enjoy all that this beautiful country has to offer.
iTourNepal - Rabi expertly planned and coordinated the team to seamlessly pack my Nepal experience with cultural and spiritual insights and immersion with the land and people of Nepal and the mighty Himalayas. Saroj as my guide was such a kind and informative intermediary to talk with and learn about the history and culture of village, city, spiritual, and trekking life. I did both a 9 days Annapurna Base Camp trek - including Poon Hill side quest - and a motorcycle day trip to Namobuddha and Bhaktapur with Saroj. He always puts the safety and experience of the guest first, making it easy to relax and take in the splendor of various ethic tribes, dynamic ecology and agriculture of Nepal, delicious foods, and simple interactions with locals. I’d love to come back to do similar type tours and will coordinate with iTourNepal when I return. Such good insights on how to stack the days when leaving town for an excursion and make the most of each moment. Also so friendly and felt like the whole family took me in as a friend. Even on days when I wasn’t doing an actual tour, I had connection with the family that made me feel at home. Thank you, iTourNepal, for welcoming me with warmth and hospitality into your amazing country and culture.
Thank you for sharing your experience of the Annapurna Base Camp trek via Ghorepani and the cultural tour to Namobuddha. We are delighted to hear that your journey was both adventurous and culturally enriching. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we continuously strive to enhance the quality of our services.
Wonderful and unique adventure. High difficulty due to altitude and tilt. However, with the recommendations from our guide Ajaya and Porter Raju, which were simply fantastic, everything became easier, Thanks to the 2.
Thank you for an opportunity to organize your short Annapurna base camp trek. Both of you were wonderful trekkers to accomplish this trek successfully in spite of bad weather. Both Ajaya and Raju also had a wonderful time trekking with you. We wish you all the best and hope to see you again in future.
