The Blue Caves of Zakynthos are one of the island’s most striking natural wonders. Located along the northern coast, near Cape Skinari, these caves are famous for their vivid blue waters, created by the sunlight reflecting off the white sea floor and brightening the water to an electric blue. The caves form stunning arches and caverns, accessible only by boat, making them a popular spot for tours. The Navagio Viewpoint offers one of the most iconic panoramas in Greece. Perched high above Shipwreck Beach (Navagio), this viewpoint showcases breathtaking views of the famous white cliffs, turquoise waters, and the shipwrecked vessel nestled in the cove below. The vantage point provides incredible photo opportunities, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light creates a magical effect over the landscape. Accessible by a short walk, the viewpoint has safety barriers, but for the best shots, many visitors venture to nearby cliffs for unobstructed views. It's a must-visit stop for capturing the essence of Zakynthos!

This tour is offered when one selects the option for tours from Agios/Nikolaos What happens is that the trip to be taken that one pays for and everything ok is 16 hours away from this destination It is a total scam, what's more, we spoke and were attended to by Customer Service and they were able to see exactly the same thing that happened to us! Mind you, they didn't return a single cent to us!
Sir, this is totally unacceptable. It is unreasonable to leave a 1-star review when you booked a tour clearly titled “Zakynthos: Shipwreck Beach & Blue Caves Guided Boat Tour” while you were in Crete, over 400 km away on a completely different island. Our listing clearly states that this experience takes place in Zakynthos, and at no point does it suggest that it operates from Crete. This was entirely a booking error on your side, not a failure of our service. Please do not mislead future travelers with information that is factually incorrect. We kindly ask you to remove or correct this review, as it does not reflect the service we provide. We reserve all our rights in relation to the publication of false and misleading statements that damage our business and reputation.
This tour was wonderful. I would highly recommend it. My husband and I were traveling for a honeymoon and we were trying to decide. We definitely wanted to go see the blue caves and we definitely wanted to see the shipwreck, but we signed up for this one which included a couple of other sites and it was well worth it. We saw the oldest olive tree we went to a farm. We went to the Sulphur Beach. It was all amazing. Our tour guide. Sabina was amazing and our driver Pavlos was wonderful too. I cannot say enough good things about this we were not really feeling this island that much. We had traveled to Naxos and Paros before and we were not that impressed with Zackynthos but after this tour, it helped us see a completely different part of the island and we saw the value in Zakynthos because of this tour so it really did make our trip. Most beautiful water in Greece and there is a part of the island that is reminiscent of Italy.
The guides were very helpful and pleasant as well as knowledgeable. The coach part of the tour can be a little arduous and not too spectacular. What’s really annoying is if you believe you are booking a board tour with your VIP shipwreck ticket then don’t be fooled, indeed you will be ushered into a boat that is far from VIP and once that is over and you’re back on the coach last photo opportunity spot they come out asking you for €25 each for the boat trip you already thought you’d paid for. If you go back on your voucher there’s some misguided small print that you think is related to hiring the boat for a private party when in actual fact it’s relating to your trip. They demand you pay up in cash right away. Totally underhand because at any point before you boarded the boat they could have alerted you to the fact that it is an additional charge you had not accounted for. The boat tour operators that smart holidays are in conjunction with are Abba Travel. I will never use them again.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. There are many people that book from different platforms, SOME OF THEM have additional fees to pay and the guides can be mislead. We are very sorry about the incident and we apologize deeply.
The tour guide is so nice, i learn a lot and also have a lot of fun, love it!!
Coach and transport to port good. Boat was old and smelly from diesel fumes. Toilet on boat disgusting. Tour ok Victor guide very good . Would have been good to have been advised.of visit to sulphur springs as could have bought beach shoes. 5 stars to Victor
The tour guide on the bus was very friendly and attentive to the needs of the individual. Also the captain who conducted the boat tour with us was enthusiastic about his island and transferred the enthusiasm to us tourists. It was very good that we first saw the beach with the shipwreck from above and then went there by boat. There was plenty of time everywhere, so you could take in the beautiful impressions. We have had the opportunity to bathe in three particularly beautiful places. Good is to bring your own drink and food and if you want it your snorkeling equipment. The organizer described the tour as a half-day tour only. But we had a tour of 7 very impressive hours in the end. The price-performance ratio is therefore very good.
Excellent tour guide and boat crew. Coffee stop at the start of the tour was a nice touch. More time on the water would have been nice
Viktor our driver and guide was so very accommodating during the whole trip. He made every effort to give everyone a great experience with plenty of fun too. We felt totally secure and informed throughout the adventure. Thanks from Steve and Lou.
Such a great experience, all the views were fantastic and the swimming stops were phenomenal. It’s crazy how blue and clear the water is. Joshua was very informative about the landscapes and so was Jason. Thoroughly enjoyed, would love to do it again!
We really enjoyed this trip! Service was really nice (got picked up at a location nearby our accommodation) and the guide was really nice and informative as well. Would highly recommend booking this trip when in Zakynthos :)
