Beautiful experience…make sure take your swim wear as we didn’t realise even if you dnt want to swim in the sea, you can swim in the beach they take is breathtaking…
The tour was great, but it was advertised as Glass Bottom. However, there was only a small dusty window not visible from seats. The tour guide was great. There were beautiful locations on the tour and we did manage to see one turtle. Because of the peak season for tourists there was no chance you would see any more as it was so busy with boats. The transfer driver was lovely and very kind but the company did charge us extra for the 15 min transfer after we booked the transfer option for the tour. All in all it was great they just had some sneaky ways you add more costs.
I might be one of the few people who didn't enjoy this tour. Communication beforehand was perfect, all details given, but when we arrived there was a weird system and nobody really knew what's happening. We were asked to arrive 15 mins before our booking time and we didn't board until 15 mins after. In the booking it says we'll get a bottle of water, which we didn't. We got on the boat and we were just sailing for 45mins looking for turtles. The glass bottom is very small and not many people can fit around it. Given there was 40 people on the boat probably only 15-20 could see through the bottom. I know this is open sea and nobody can predict if the turtles will come up, but only one did once and that's all we saw, because we couldn't fit to look through the glass bottom. Wish that the captain tried to organise it somehow and ask people, who've already seen through the glass to move and let others there to see too. Then we went for a swim to the turtle island and then to Keri caves, which was lovely. Only giving 2 stars because it's titled as turtle spotting and that's the part we've enjoyed the least.
Everything perfect, even the cost!!! Experience to do!
Absolutely magnificent, reasonably sized boat, very nice and pleasant guide, we had an excellent time, I highly recommend it!
Very nice to explore the island this way from the sea. At the meeting point we unfortunately had to wait about half an hour in the heat, which was a great shame. Furthermore, everything was excellently organized and we had a great experience!
We had an absolutely unforgettable day with Happy Days Zante and Captain Thanassi! From the moment we stepped on board, the entire experience was relaxed, fun, and incredibly well organised. Captain Thanassi was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from start to finish. The boat trip itself was stunning, with crystal-clear water, beautiful caves, and some of the most breathtaking scenery we've seen. The highlight of the day was getting the incredible opportunity to swim with a sea turtle in its natural habitat—something I'll never forget. It was such a magical experience and made the trip even more special. You can really tell that Captain Thanassi loves what he does and genuinely wants everyone to have the best possible experience. His local knowledge, sense of humour, and passion for Zakynthos made the day even better. If you're visiting Zakynthos, don't even think twice book with Happy Days Zante. It was easily one of the highlights of our holiday, and we can't recommend Captain Thanassi and his team highly enough. Thank you for an amazing day and memories that will last a lifetime 5 Star experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Boat described as having a "glass bottom" had two small windows that could not be accessed, one stop was skipped and others were done with less duration than planned. The guide was the driver who, among other things, was also eating during the trip.
Had a good time on our boat trip. It was a smaller boat with about 40 onboard. It had a nice big shaded area. Didn't really get much of a chance to see the turtles as we were sat in middle seats of the boat so couldn't get to the sides as people were sat there taking their own pics. Plus there were so many boats all circling in the same area fighting to get a good position for photos. However we did see a turtle that 'just happened' to be in the harbour by a boat where a man on board was asking for money to help feed it. A little too convenient I thought but never mind we still got a chance to see a turtle better than we did onboard the trip. No water offered to us even though it stated bottled water available on the booking. We got to swim in the lovely blue water for a short time. You can jump off the front or go down the ladder and we went inside Keri caves briefly then we were allowed 35 mins on the small island which was lovely. No shade at all there take a hat. The boat pulled in right up to the sand so very easy to get off via a ladder even for kids and anyone who can't swim. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues though. Not bad value for money. We wouldn't do the same trip again but would definitely book with Happy Days Zante. The hotel pick up and drop off was on time and ideal, fully air conditioned and Dimetri our driver was so kind helping me in and out of the minibus. All in all a nice few hours out of the hotel.
We were picked up at the agreed upon time, but then were dropped off blind with no guide, no information, then we had to wait over an hour before someone came to tell us what was going on, where we were then pushed like cattle onto different boats. The boat was small and over crowded, with a “glass bottom”, which was a tiny, little window that wasn’t worth looking through. The whole trip seemed rushed. We spent most of the time trying to view the turtles, which spent their time on the bottom off the ocean(not their fault). Granted, it was stated that the trip was 3-5 hours INCLUDING pick up and drop off time, which I feel is underwhelming. You spend 2-2.5 hours out on the boat with limited time at each stop off point and no information as to where we were stopping. The remaining time we were stuck in traffic and dropping everyone off. To conclude, the trip wasn’t long enough, there was no information and no guidance and I feel like this could be a better trip if they made this a bit more personable. Almost 4 hours of travelling and waiting of a 3-5 hour trip just isn’t acceptable
