Thor was a very good guide and helped us learn about really cool stuff I really appreciated it
The Epic 4x4 Tour of Moab with Thor was AMAZING! Not only was the scenery breathtaking, the machines drove very well, but Thor was an informative, patient, and just overall great tour guide! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone (I have kids age 14,12&9 who loved it as well). Also, to Thor’s Parents…I know you miss him very much with him gallivanting all over the US guiding these amazing tours… but he is doing exactly what he should to be doing in this life! You raised an amazing person! Job well done! 🤍
The tour operators were terrific and the service level was very good. However, this was a more challenging activity than is published in the description for the tour. There are big climbs and big drops along this pathway and is not good if you have back issues because of the incredibly uneven terrain. Also not good for the faint of heart as some of the climbs are on very narrow paths. The UTV's are incredibly loud and you cannot wear ear protection because you need to be able to hear the guide giving direction on the walkie-talkie the entire way. I'm sure the scenery was amazing but it was hard to enjoy because of the challenge of the drive. Just be aware before booking!
Travis was an awesome guide! We had loads of fun and there wasn’t a doubt on whether we got our money’s worth out of it! It was a small group setting so it felt really private and individualized.
My husband found this tour and decided to book it for us. I’m kind of a “freaky Frida” in the car so I knew this was going to be a stretch for me. It really was an awesome tour!!! I’m not going to pretend I wasn’t nervous, but it was very safe and well ran. Travis, our tour guide, did such a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and safe from the beginning of the tour all the way to the end!! If we happen upon Moab again, we’d be booking another tour!!
The ride was pretty scary but when I learned that Travis was my guide I genuinely felt like a helpless little child being lovingly escorted through the desert by his sweet mother.
That might be one of the most creative compliments Travis has ever received! 😂 Moab’s terrain can definitely get the nerves going, so we’re glad Travis made you feel completely safe and cared for through the adventure. Having a guide you can trust makes those intimidating moments a whole lot more fun. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. The vehicles are absolute beasts—capable of tackling any terrain and climbing rocks you wouldn’t believe possible. Our guide Thor was exceptional: knowledgeable, super friendly, and made sure we had a blast while always keeping us safe. Between the adrenaline rushes and the breathtaking red rock scenery, it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. 10/10!
“Absolute beasts” is a pretty perfect description of these machines! We love seeing guests discover just how capable they are, especially when those rock climbs look impossible from the driver’s seat. Thor’s knowledge and friendly approach are a great combination for keeping the adrenaline high while making sure everyone feels safe and confident along the way. Between conquering the slickrock and taking in Moab’s breathtaking red rock scenery, it sounds like you got the full Epic experience. Our family of four adults booked the Sunset Gateway to Hell's Revenge and Fins 'n Things tour. We chose this tour because it was approiate for beginners and our family did not have any experience. Josh was our guide and he did a great job! He explained how to navigate through the course and my son had a blast driving! We also stopped for pictures and a gorgeous view of sunset looking down over the Colorado river. The razor was in great condition, we were given good instructions before leaving and they provided snacks and water. I highly recommend Epic 4x4 Adventures for UTV tours when in Moab!
