Yosemite 3-Day Camping Adventure from San Francisco

I joined the three day camping trip from SFO and have absolutely loved it. Blessed with the weather, a small hut super friendly female only group (agin hit the jackpot on this), and FABULOUS route. Loved every single minute of it. The trip was planned to cover the best spots in the valley and around, and our guide Josh was funny and pretty knowledgeable with everything that’s going on. 1000/10! Have recommended to my family to do the trip also.

Possibly one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had. As a solo traveller I was nervous and apprehensive I would end up lonely but the whole trip ended up being 5 other solo travellers who very quickly turned from strangers into friends. Our guide, jonathon Yonts, could not have done a better job. He was extremely professional and organised, while also managing to be one of the most fun people to be around. Whatever he is being paid isn’t close to being enough, this man did not take one second off the whole trip. He was constantly making sure everyone was good, organising food, helping us out etc. he took the time to get to know us all quite deeply and really invested himself in us all. An unbelievable trip that will stick with me for the rest of my days.

The itinerary for the 3 days was well planned out and really showed the beauty of Yosemite. Considering we went on a weekend in July, we avoided overly crowded spots and queues, which I was concerned about. As a vegan, I was well looked after from a food perspective too, and the options we were given were good quality and healthy compared to other tours I've been on. The final day being a day of doing your own thing was nice too for those more independent travellers, and our guide Ben was great at giving us options with how to spend it. My only negative feedback would be the campsite and camping equipment (mattresses were pretty rubbish). I was keen to stay in the park and have a more 'in nature' feel as opposed to the tight squeeze of the RV park. I understand the choice is due to the facilities available, but it would be good to make this super clear to avoid disappointment. I also think it would be great to provide a packing list of what to bring pre-tour. A lot of us rocked up without a towel or pillow, as we did not know what would be provided.

It was amazing! Sarah was a great guide who alwasy tried to accomodate us in the best possible way. We did some hikes with amazing views and Sarah also had great reccomendations for our free time. The trip was a good mix of hiking, visiting iconic viewpoints, enjoying nature and free time to do whatever we liked.

Happened to visit during a period where it was not packed. Tristan was a great tour guide and worked very hard.

The 3 day camping trip to Yosemite was by far the best group tour i have ever done. Yosemite has incredible beauty, and the 3 days give you just enough time to really enjoy it (and a desire to come back again). What really made the trip, though, was our phenomenal group, not least our gem of a tour guide Lawton. Lawton was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and went above and beyond to connect with all of us both individually and as a group. Even with long days of driving, and when the weather wasn’t quite in our favor, he was always positive, kind, and keen to chat. His adaptability meant nothing ever felt like a pain, and we never felt like we missed out. If you have the capacity to do the 3 days i would 100% recommend (especially if you are lucky enough to get Lawton as your guide), just make sure to bring a pillow 😊

Incredible 3 day camping trip. We saw so much and Lawton our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful. Best guided trip I’ve been on.
