Explore Xunantunich’s plazas and temples with a guide, then continue into the forest for cave tubing after a safety briefing and approach walk. Float through the limestone cave system before taking on the zipline course, where trained guides provide the equipment and help you move between canopy platforms. Each activity is presented as its own guided part of the day.

The panoramic views of the Cayo District and nearby Guatemala from atop ‘El Castillo’ are stupendous! Come with an open heart to experience simplicity and visiting another world for a few hours before heading off to Jaguar Paw for cave tubing & zip lining. When you’ve arrived at the outpost, you will meet your tour guides who will issue inflatable tubes, headlamps and life vest. You’ll be given a basic orientation and safety briefing before heading off on a 30-minute hike which includes wading through a few knee-deep water streams.
At Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve near Frank’s Eddy, reached from the George Price Highway west of Belize City, receive your helmet, headlamp, life vest, and tube. Walk with your guide through the forest to the river, then float through the limestone cave system and open-river section while learning about its geology and Maya cultural importance.
Meet the trained zipline guides for an equipment fitting and safety briefing covering braking, balance, and cable procedures. Move through the course one platform at a time while the guides manage each stage and help you travel above the tropical forest canopy.

IMPORTANT — SAN PEDRO AND CAYE CAULKER GUESTS: This tour’s pickup begins in Belize City. We do not pick you up from your island hotel, and we do not escort you from the hotel to the water taxi terminal or airport. You must reach the terminal or airport, check in, and board independently. If your selected option says Self-Transfer, you must purchase your own ticket. If it says Water Taxi Included or Flight Included, we arrange only the specified ticket; transportation from your hotel to the departure terminal or airport is still not included. Water taxi arrivals: after collecting your luggage, meet your guide outside the main exit of the San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi Terminal, 111 North Front Street, Belize City. Flight arrivals: the exact Belize City airport meeting location will appear on your voucher. Look for a guide holding your name or a Private Belize Adventure sign. Please arrive early enough to complete check-in.

My wife and I wanted a tour to see a few of the attractions in Belize. This tour fit the bill nicely. It was a full day tour (101/2 hours) and gave us a good overview of the Mayan civilizations in Belize, a look at the jungle while zip lining over it and a relaxing float on an underground river. We were the only two on the tour and were well looked after and informed by our guide Pau who was extremely knowledgeable, and considerate. All in all it was a well spent day.
