Xi'an Evening Food Tour by TukTuk

Description
This is not another walking tour but a small group tour travel by private tuktuk and offer unlimited beer and soda while you and your English-speaking guide are whisked around Xi’an off the beaten path. You will eat where the locals eat at small, family-run businesses and try the best local food at places you can’t find on your own. After 3 hours, you will finish at a local brewery to have a pint of the only craft brew in town.

Itinerary
You will meet at an easy-to-find central location and then wind your way through the narrow streets and alleys by tuktuk within the Xi’an City Wall to find the best food in the city. We’ll take you places where only locals go. You’ll cover a lot of ground and get off the beaten path to family-run restaurants that you (and other tourists) won’t find on your own. Between food stops, you’ll be able to chat with your English-speaking guide about the city while drinking unlimited chilled beer and soda during the ride.
While visiting our 4-5 food stops, you will get to learn about the families that have been making their specialties for generations. You’ll watch your food being made and learn about what makes it so special to Xian locals. Whether it’s sitting by an old man grilling meat over coals in a quaint Muslim Quarter alleyway, or watching noodles hand-pulled to order, there is something to try for everyone. The tour will finish at the only local brewery in Xian where you can tour the facility and sample what’s on tap before we treat you to a pint of your choice.
The tour ends at a local brewery where you can sample their craft beer and then enjoy a pint of your choice.

Great tour, informative, lovely guide, interesting part of the city.
Excellent. Very informative but most importantly very tasty
A wonderful start to our Xi’an stay. Diehal was a superb guide. Good English and excellent knowledge of local foods and Xi’an culture and history. Highly recommend.
Diehl’s strong English and deep knowledge clearly made your start in Xi’an feel easy and rich. We loved reading that local foods plus Xi’an culture and history came through so well for you!
We loved everything about it. No way we wouldve experienced all that delicious food on our own. Jacqueline was a lovely guide <3
What a delicious Xi’an evening you had! Jacqueline made it easy for you to experience all that food you wouldn’t have found on your own, and it stood out so clearly for you.
We're a family of six, with kids from 7 to 21. We had a great time. From the drinks to start, the Tuk Tuk to each stop, the guide and her stories about the history of the food, to the final stop, we had a great time and it gave us exactly what we wanted.
What a fun Xi’an night for your family of six! From the drinks to start to the Tuk Tuk between stops, you and your kids got exactly the experience you were hoping for.
Diehl was a great guide. We were only a group of 3 but she made the tour so interesting and entertaining. The food was so good- good portions at each stop. Would definitely do a tour like this again
Diehl kept your small group engaged, and it came through clearly that the evening felt interesting and entertaining for you. We also loved hearing that the portions at each stop worked well for you and made the whole night feel worth doing again!
This was a fun and filling tour. Jialin gave us a broad understanding of the food in the region and what made it special. Tuk tuks helped with seeing the many small streets in Xi’an’s Muslim quarter. Small group was great. Highly recommend.
We loved having you on our evening tour in Xi'an. Jialin made sure you got a real understanding of the local food, and those tuk tuks are definitely the best way to navigate the Muslim Quarter's small streets.
Our restaurant tour with guide Jacqueline was a trip highlight. She knew Xi’an’s food scene inside out. The pace felt relaxed, not rushed, and it really felt like eating with a local friend rather than following a tourist checklist. Highly recommend if you want real Xian flavor!
We loved eating our way through Xi'an with you. Jacqueline really knows her way around the local food scene, and we are happy the relaxed pace made the night feel like dining with a friend.
We have just come back from an amazing evening for tour with the wonderful Diehl. She was very knowledgeable, interesting (told us lots about the food but also Xi’an) and fun and really suited to our family of 3 teens plus parents. I would highly recommend both for the food but also the fantastic guide. Really enjoyable - thank you so much Diehl.
Thank you for taking your family out with us in Xi'an. Glad Diehl made the evening fun for your teenagers while sharing so much about the food and the city.
This was a fantastic experience. Guide was informative and the food delightful. Got to eat as places we would never be able to find ourselves. Great way to spend an evening.
Thanks for spending an evening with us in Xi'an. It is great to hear you enjoyed the food and found those tucked-away spots you would have missed on your own.
