Our experience on the river cruise was lovely. The captain was so friendly and informative. He gave us lots of recommendations of things we could do whilst in Wroclaw and effortlessly showed us the wonderful sights explaining their rich history. We would definitely recommend. Thank you again, for such a lovely experience.
Isabel, thank you kindly for these lovely words! I really enjoyed sharing Wrocław's history with you from the water and pointing you toward a few more places worth seeing while you're here — that's always my favourite part of the cruise. Hope to welcome you back aboard again! Best regards, Mikołaj — Captain of BARBARKAR
I saw that this boat trip was recommended and it certainly deserves to be. The captain was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humour. He really looked after all of the customers and also has a great taste in music. The Rolling Stones all the way! :) Highly recommend this trip and you can take a drink on board.
Jamie, thank you kindly for such a generous review! Really glad you had a good time — and always nice to meet a fellow Rolling Stones fan, they're pretty much the house band out on the water. Thanks for the recommendation, and hope to have you back aboard again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
We were on the boat trip yesterday; it was short, informative, and remarkable how the captain switched between the guests' different languages. We can definitely recommend this tour with this provider.
Ulrike, thank you kindly for the wonderful review! Glad the cruise felt short but informative, and that the crew could keep things clear for a mixed group of guests. Really appreciate the recommendation — hope to have you back on board again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
We booked this river cruise tour along the river Oder with get your guide, it was such good value for money. We had our complimentary drinks on arrival and the. Boarded shortly after. The captain Nicholas is lovely and the journey was smooth. There was music playing but it would have been nice to be asked about playing your own music as that was one of the selling points, this was something little not major. Over all my rating is 5 stars and I would recommend.
Thank you kindly for the fantastic review and the 5 stars! Really glad the drinks and the smooth ride made for good value, and I appreciate you flagging the music point — that's genuinely useful feedback. Guests are always welcome to ask to play their own playlist over the Bluetooth system, I just don't always think to offer it upfront, so I'll make a better habit of asking. Thanks again for the recommendation, and hope to have you back on board sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
Nicholas was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable. Needed something interesting to do during the day and this was perfect! Complimentary drink included so arrive in good time to order. Would recommend
Christine, thank you kindly for the great review! Glad the cruise ended up being just the thing to fill the day, and that the welcome drink worked out well too. Thanks for the recommendation — hope to have you back on board again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
This was a long walk to the last berth. There was little or no commentary. I found little of value to see. The ride was comfortable due to the low attendance. Does not cost alot you get a drink and pleasantly wastes 45 minutes. give it a go if you have time.
Thank you for the honest feedback — I really do appreciate it. Sorry the walk to the boat felt longer than expected; BARBARKA sits a little past the main bridge, so I'll look at making the directions clearer ahead of time. On the commentary — some cruises lean more into a relaxed, chillout-lounge style than a guided tour, but I hear you that a bit more narration adds value, and it's something I'm working on being more consistent about. Glad the price and the drink still made it worthwhile, and thanks for giving it a go. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
Very relaxing and allows you to see the city from the water. However, there was no commentary, which I found disappointing. However, the boat was very comfortable, and the staff was super nice, accommodating, and professional.
Adriana, thank you kindly for the honest feedback. Glad the ride felt relaxing and that the crew came across as accommodating — but sorry the lack of commentary left something to be desired. That's a fair point, and I'm working on being more consistent about sharing a bit of Wrocław's story along the way, not just leaving it as a quiet float. Thanks for the kind words about the staff, and hope to have you back on board again. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
In bright sunshine, Captain Nicolai took us through Wroclaw! Told in a funny way, musically accompanied by the Stones and a cold drink, it was a wonderful trip. Clean and punctual!
Helke, thank you kindly for the wonderful review! Glad the sunshine, the Stones, and a cold drink added up to a perfect afternoon in Wrocław — that's exactly the combination I go for. Really appreciate you noting the clean and punctual part too, that matters a lot to me. Hope to have you back on board again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
Had a wonderful time on the cruise with my Mum, Aunt and young Nephew Leo - captain made his day 5*s
Nicola, thank you kindly for the lovely review! A three-generation trip with Mum, Aunt, and young Leo sounds like exactly the kind of crowd I love having aboard — so glad it made his day. Thanks for the 5 stars, and hope to see the whole family back again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
Just a nice relaxing time. We enjoyed it. The captain was great. And the free drink was a plus. Thank you.
Carrie, thank you kindly for the nice review! Glad it turned into a relaxing time and that the welcome drink was a nice bonus. Thanks for taking the time to write — hope to have you back on board again sometime. Mikołaj — Captain & Owner, Katamaran BARBARKAR
